We first met Terri & George by Zoom and then they visited us the day before their stay. Our twin Bichon boys, Hugo & Alfie, seemed to take to them straight away. Terri & George communicated with us each day we were away with messages, photos & videos of their time with our boys, which gave us peace of mind that they were being cared for. When we returned we found our house was just as we left it! They had washed and dried all the bedding and towels!! They had made the bed ready for us with the fresh bedding and towels ready for us to use! I must admit, because it was the first time we have done this, we weren’t sure what to expect. I should have said, just strip the bed, put the towels for washing and we will sort it. But we really did appreciate the extra effort they gave in doing this, and demonstrates the level of care they take. Terri & George are a lovely couple and even helped our next door neighbour with a issue she had with her garage door!
Kristine was such a gracious host. Her home is quiet and private at the end of a dead end street surrounded by forest and a short walk to the beach. She took the time to show me around and where I could find everything ahead of time. Penny is older and has a set schedule that she will keep to, even if you forget by a few minutes she will let you know :) Penny just wants to be near you under some covers or outside laying in the sun or enjoying her meals. Ganzy was my shadow and such a cuddly guy. He liked playing games and engaging with cat toys and occasionally brought me “presents” from outside as he’s an excellent little hunter. He also would keep me on schedule if I was a second behind dinner time. They were both really enjoyable and entertaining to be around! Highly recommend watching Kris’ home and animals!
Zigzy was such a sweet cat! So easy to be with and care for. She loved to be petted. Sydney was a really good communicator ~ she left very clear instructions. She also lent me a bike which was awesome since there are bike trails nearby. The sit was near downtown Boulder and the University, so that was cool. I recommend this sit!
It was a total joy to look after Joey, Bamse, Suri & Billy (Ylva wasn't staying with us as she was in season at the time). The doggies are so loving, full of energy and personality. They love their walks, cuddles and food! They get very excited for walkies, and pull a little at the beginning, but walk really well after the initial excitement and are excellent at recall. Patty explained to us before the visit that Suri was a lock-down puppy and she can get a little startled and standoff-ish with other dogs/people on a walk (woofing but completely harmless) and showed us a great trick of how to distract her with cheese - she was such a good girl for us. Billy is the most laid back and affectionate cat. He gets on well with the dogs and never stops purring! We particularly enjoyed the evening cuddles on the sofa in front of the fire with Billy and all the doggies. We already miss them and would definitely look after them again without hesitation! Patty made us feel extremely welcome, going above and beyond. Her house is very comfortable and relaxed, with all the amenities for a home away from home. Thank you Patty for being such a great host!
Can't say enough positive things about our pet sit with martini, vespa and the pet parents, Georgia and Oliver. The dogs are adorable, they like human contact and are well behaved. They are easy to care of and playful. Georgie and Oliver's home is beautiful, homely, clean, spacious and well equipped. We loved our stay in the pool house and the kindness shown to us throughout. They are Incredibly flexible and thoughtful, a delight to pet/house sit. We are keen to return and hang out with martini and vespa.
Great people, super flexible with all the arrangements which really made life very easy. Pets were pretty low key though one of them is young and has a lot of energy. Lovely house, very nice stay.
