Natalie is a repeat house sitter for us and for good reason. Our Matza, just loves her. She is above 5 Stars. She continually amazes us. When we come home it as though no one was ever here. The house is spotless. She has a genuine concern for our dog. She requested we text when our flight was leaving, landing and once we got home to ensure Matza was taken care of. There is reason for ALL her great reviews because she is a true gem. If you are lucky enough to get her you will not want for any other sitter to watch and take care of your home and fury babies.
We had an amazing time housesitting for Jennifer and Aaron. They went camping and brought along their dog Dixie, so we looked after their home and Oliver, their cat. Communication with Jennifer and Aaron was excellent, both leading up to and during the housesitting experience. On the day of the sit, Aaron showed us around the house and introduced us to Oliver. He's 16, so sweet and very mellow. All we needed to do was monitor his automatic food and water dispensers and give him a can of tuna every day. After a while he warmed up to us, joining us in the kitchen and asking for some pets and a warm lap while we were relaxing on the couch. He was a joy to be around. The house is lovely. It's up a hill in Grants Pass, but we didn't need a special vehicle to get there. The location is peaceful and feels private while still being close-in to town with access to everything you need--groceries, shopping, parks, and a plethora of outdoor activities. The view is spectacular, looking over the valley and the beautiful hills and ridgeline. Their home is uncluttered, well-organized and clean. We enjoyed the ensuite guest room, the gourmet kitchen, the TV with lots of streaming options, and the generous outdoor spaces (including the pool and cornhole!). We would absolutely housesit and petsit again for Oliver, Jennifer and Aaron and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend this experience to other folks on TrustedHousesitters. Five stars, for sure!
I love Pretzel! He took a few days to warm up, but with some patience he really embraced me and we were off on some great adventures together. His parents took me through everything very thoroughly - their home is lovely and super walkable around Boulder. I had a great time and would absolutely watch Pretzel again :)
Lauren and David were very welcoming. They setup a guest room just so that I could arrive a day early. They made sure I had anything I needed before they departed and they were very responsive to my daily updates. Sadie is a sweetheart who stays within arm’s reach just in case you ever need a cuddle. She’ll likely roll over and let you pet her belly on the first day. Walter took a day to warm up to me. I got my hand nipped a few times on that day - but I subsequently learned that he is just a big, excited baby. I suggest using the provided water spray until he calms a little. I enjoyed sitting with both of them. The home is a secure condo next to some great places to eat and drink within a quarter mile. The adjacent neighborhood is quiet enough that it’s easy to walk the pets without running into other dogs. I could always find parking within a block and always had new streets to explore. I definitely recommend a pet sit here.
We had a wonderful stay at Friederike and Michi’s. They were so welcoming and made us feel like family. They left us thorough instructions for looking after the pets and made sure we knew where everything was. The pets were a delight and very easy to look after.
Tanya and David have a cozy and very comfortable heritage home in a beautiful, peaceful country setting. Leo and Luna are very loving and oh so sweet kitties. They would seek pets a couple of times a day and sit beside us on the couch. I will miss Luna's little sqeeks aka meows. Tanya and David were excellent communicators answering all our inquires promptly. We really enjoyed our time - watching the deer and all the birds and squirrels in the yard. Would highly recommend and we would love to return for a future sit.
Leon + Tecolote were SO sweet! Leon hung out most of the time on the couch and Tecolote was very eager to play, cuddle, and nap together. Paige and Matt were clear and kind communicators and the home was beautiful and clean. I recommend sitting for Paige and Matt!
