Serena was beyond amazing. She took such fantastic care of our house and Stanley. I only wish I could have kept her longer! wish we
Koda is a joyful, very expressive dog. He howls when he is excited, does a little dance when he needs to go out - he will have you well-trained in a day or two. He is a big ole hound dog, walks easily on the leash, and keeps you company in the house. You can let him wander in the big, fenced, backyard, but he does have a nemesis or two, he and the dogs on the other side of the fence get into some pretty loud barking contests. We usually walked the loop around the nearby park for exercise. Koda sleeps on the bed, but keeps a respectful distance. The house is fab. The architecture, light fixtures, artwork , and furniture make it feel like you are living in the Brady Bunch house. I really enjoyed this pet-sit. Koda is a great dog. There are two coffee makers in the kitchen and snacks in the cupboard. The bed is very comfortable and the adjoining bathroom looks recently remodeled.
We have a lovely time taking care of Bo and Tucker! They're wonderful dogs with great personalities that love to play and go on long walks - which there are plenty of in Whistler! Christy has an amazing house, which is close to the village. We would stay again watch those two in a heartbeat!
The best dog in the whole wide world, the most beautiful stone cottage in possibly one the best locations in the entirety of the UK, and the loveliest, kindest people you could possibly wish to meet in a very long lifetime - all make this house sitting assignment a gold-medal-winning, absolutely wonderful and unmissable experience. Just brilliant.
I loved housesitting for Tiffany and looking after all her lovely animals! Firstly the pups Rex, Lucky and Budgy are all very affectionate and also very well behaved. I loved our walks by the river and our evening snuggles on the sofa. And of course there are also the two bunnies, Sid and Tupuc, and Coby the ferret. All equally sweet and a pleasure to look after. Tiffany's home is beautiful and in a great location too, close to Kew gardens and just a short walk to the river. Thanks for having me Tiffany!
The sit with Nacho and Papi was arranged shortly before Christmas, when another sit I had agreed to had to be cancelled because of external circumstances. I felt very lucky to have got this enjoyable, relaxing sit at the last minute. I met Papli, her husband, Eda, and one of their daughters, Dobby, before the sit and left an item of clothing for Nacho and Papi to sniff, as requested, so they could get used to me. Papli and her family were very friendly, warm and hospitable, so that I quickly felt at ease. I enjoyed our conversations before the sit. They also warmly welcomed my dad, who lives nearby, and was there when they returned. Eda and Papli also offered and gave me lifts locally which, I appreciated as I don't drive and it was the festive period when not many buses were running. This was my first rabbit sit, but with the information Papli had supplied on the listing, supplemented by written information from Dobby, and being able to meet Nacho and Papi before the sit, caring for them felt straightforward. The bunnies were sweet, comical and very soft to touch, when they allowed contact: it took them a while to get used to me and Nacho welcomes being stroked more than Papi. After I followed Papli's instructions for leaving them in the house alone, they seemed relaxed when I returned after going out for a couple of hours on each of the 2 days of my stay. Their family weren't away for long, so I don't know if they'd be as calm during a longer absence, but they gave every impression of being easy to look after. Papli and her family left a variety of tasty food in for me, which was particularly welcome at a time when most shops were shut, as well as giving me a lovely box of chocolates. Their house was warm, clean, well equipped and relaxing to stay in. I can highly recommend this sit and hope to spend more time with Nacho and Papi and to meet their very affable human family again in the future.
We absolutely adored Indi & her lovely abode. Olivia was a super thoughtful host & her sweet studio apartment was perfectly located on the UES. Indi grew to be our bestie during our stay, snuggling with us on the bed, playing with her laser pointer or other kitty toys, & napping near us at every opportunity. Saying farewell to Indi was tough, and we sincerely hope that we can hang out with her again soon, because caring for her has been such a pleasure!
