This was Ellen's first sit on zeewoi, but you would never know it. She is a seasoned pro right off the bat, and we were lucky to have her apply for a short, last minute sit. She couldn't have been more organized, compassionate and kind. She got along with Honey right away, sent lovely messages and pictures, and left the house very clean and tidy. She and Martin are just beginning their zeewoi journey, and I know that if they treat each home and pet as they have mine, they will have no trouble finding future sits. I wish them the best and hope they will return to stay with us in the future. I highly recommend them should their application land in your inbox. You will be happy to host them, just as we were.
My stay at Ashley’s was phenomenal. We had great communication before & during the sit. I could tell the family appreciated the photo & video updates. I couldn’t have asked for a better sit in a great location. Buster is a little guy with a big heart & he stole mine. He was the best companion. He loves to do a little dance when he’s ready to go outside and will cuddle with you all night if you like. He is very sweet and you can tell there is lots of love for Buster in his home. He’s very well behaved when on walks and also when it’s time to put him in his crate during times that I was out of the house. The house is perfect for those working remote. It was clean & organized. I slept very comfortably in the basement bedroom with Buster. When I needed a short break, a walk around the neighborhood was perfect. There was easy access to several parks and the amazing City Park farmers market on Saturdays. I would come back in a heartbeat!
We really loved looking after Rover, it was difficult to say goodbye to him! He is still a puppy and super energetic so we got a lot of exercise walking him! Angela’s home is located on a beautiful street one block from the beach, it was a very nice area to stroll around. We hope to look after Rover again one day!
This was our first time pet-sitting through TrustedHousesitters. We enjoyed meeting with Kaitlyn and Fenway before-hand and getting to know them a little bit. We had a wonderful time with Fenway! He loves his walks and is a friendly guy; he also enjoys play-time, cuddles, and snoozing with his people. Kaitlyn's condo is well-appointed and it's in a fun, very dog-friendly neighborhood. We had hoped to care for Fenway again, but unfortunately the timing hasn't worked out.
We had an amazing, relaxing time sitting for Barrington and Kitty Kitty! They were chill, welcoming companions our entire stay. Barrington is such a sleepy bear and Kitty Kitty loved lap naps and head scratches. Rachel was so easy to communicate with and a perfect hostess. Definitely recommend the stay if you get the chance.
Bailey and Willow are the best! We had such a great time looking after them. Bailey is super easy and happy to join you for an afternoon in a cafe/restaurant/pub. He’s really well trained and a pleasure to look after. We already miss him! Jo is great to communicate with and her flat is wonderful. We were really comfortable and felt welcome in Jo’s home.
I really enjoyed housesitting for Virginia in Guerneville! Sammy, is an older golden retriever that is very well behaved and loves to go for walks in the neighborhood or to local parks (she is a great car rider). Bleu is an independent yet very cuddly cat that uses her cat door to go outside as she pleases (no litter box!). Joey is a super cool bearded dragon that is a cinch to take care of and loves to be hand fed. There is a Safeway less than 5 minutes away and a restaurant at the end of Virginia's street which I walked to twice during my stay. There are many things to do in the area (vineyards, hiking, fishing, restaurants, etc) and the scenery is beautiful. Virginia says that it is far more beautiful in the summer, and I cannot wait for the opportunity to return!
