We had an awesome stay at Di and Jon’s. They are a warm, welcoming couple who are very organised. We had excellent instructions which makes looking after the pets so easy. Beau, Huey and Argee are such beautiful boys and very affectionate. We left their home as friends. We would sit for Di again in a heartbeat, loved our time there.
Looking after Akira for three weeks was an absolute pleasure. Celia is a very welcoming and generous host, who wants you to feel comfortable and at home in her place. The apartment is lovely and well-organized, and Celia explained everything I needed to know to find my way around and to take care of Akira. The tasks are not difficult at all, twice daily feedings, fresh water, cleaning out the litter box and play/cuddle time. Akira is very sweet and cuddly but has clear boundaries and will let you know when you have trespassed. I found her adorable!! Besides the joys of the house/cat sitting, you can also look forward to being in a really nice neighborhood of Berlin. Very lively in one direction with lots of shops and restaurants, and very quiet and green in the other direction with lots of parks and waterways, all close by. Several public transport options are in walking distance, so it is easy to explore the rest of Berlin. Thank you, Celia, for a wonderful time!
I really enjoyed my time here looking after the handsome, affectionate and very charismatic Pepper. Not only is he very sweet, he is amazingly compliant when getting his twice-daily injections, and was very patient with me as I took my time (in the early days) to find the right spot for the injection. Maurizio did a great job showing me what to do and I soon got very used to it. The house is comfortable and well-equipped, and Sharon & Maurizio were very welcoming and friendly. They were also great to communicate with (including that they set up a dedicated WhatsApp group for communicating during the sit which was very convenient) and they were very responsive when I had a question or two while they were away. I would recommend this house-sit and would love to return!
We have a really lovely stay with the beautiful self assured Missy and trickster Rocky Houdini. Amie and Pete explained everything really clearly, and the little ones have a neat tech set up with automated cat flap and feeders, making it really easy to look after them. The loft room is clean, spacious and comfortable and everything is perfectly located for local groceries and walking into St Albans. Missy and Rocky were sweet lovely characters, both relative youngsters, and they make you feel very protective over them. Houdini Rocky, bit of a foodster too, had us flummoxed one evening on his whereabouts, after cleaner unknowingly shut him in the spare (and usually 'no go' due to plants) room. Amie and Pete were very understanding and happy to help from abroad where they were meant to be chilling, in clue busting to track down the little rogue. They were also happy to flex with our own earlier change of plan where Mickey arrived a few days late due to getting stuck abroad. The latter also meant introducing another stranger late on, and Missy was very soon curious and interactive, Rocky a bit more cautious - very wise if you ask me :). Overall, it was fab to wake up to and hang out with these two, each very loveable in their own way. Thank you to Amie and Peter for welcoming us and being so super organised, we really appreciate it and we have some very funny (in hindsight!) memories. Hope to meet Amie, Pete, Missy and Rocky (Houdini) again in the future and would love to sit for them again but can thoroughly recommend for anybody else Angela and Mick

It was truly a pleasure and joy to sit for Susan and her family's dog, Remi. This sweet girl is timid and apprehensive of strangers at first but as soon as you dedicate a good full day of playtime, treats (she loves bone marrow bones), and comfortable walks, she will stick close by to you. Remi is not fond of men unfortunately and will hide/shy away from them so just an FYI. Remi loves her tennis balls so be prepared to go thru some and lose some! haha! Remi did have some attachment/anxiety being in her crate alone at night so I did find it helpful for her to sleep with me in the same room otherwise she did cry a little bit. Susan's home is beautiful and peaceful. The neighborhood is gorgeously lined with vast trees and even more gorgeous homes. I had a pleasant time taking Remi on her walks to the bayou and she enjoyed them just as much. You're close to local stores like Trader Joe's, Whole Foods etc Starbucks is close by as well and Remi was spoiled with a couple of puppachinos (pup cups). So she is good & comfortable in a car once you let her explore it for a couple of minutes. The location isn't too far from downtown Houston but a car is necessary to get around. Take advantage of their cute fireplace on chillier nights and enjoy their gorgeous salt pool, weather permitting. Remi will come sit next to you as the fire burns and will enjoy your company. I had a wonderful time as my cousin joined me as well. We both loved Remi so much and were so sad when we had to say goodbye. I would definitely recommend sitting Remi. She just needs patience, love and attention and you'll have a great time! I hope to come back again soon. Thanks again Susan and fam!
