We had a great time for our first sitting for Laura. She was incredibly welcoming and generous and made sure we had everything we needed. The location is great, it's in a quiet neighbourhood with easy access to the South Downs for beautiful walks ,and transport to Brighton and Hove. Her home is clean and comfortable. We have adored our time with Frankie and Riley. They are gorgeous dogs and so well trained. We loved taking them out each day followed by cuddles on the sofa. Prince and Lilly are lovely cats, so chilled. Other reviewers are quite right, they just come and go as they please, like a bit of a stroke and are very low maintenance. Thank you Laura for a wonderful stay. Would highly recommend this sit.
Karen is wonderful! She was very thoughtful in making sure that I was comfortable even before I arrived, so kind and accommodating. It was great to meet Karen and talk with her. Hilo is a sweetie, no trouble at all, although you might have to coax him a bit to eat his food and drink his water. He likes treats and he loves a little sweet Potatoe. It's best to not rush him to connect when you first arrive, he'll warm up slowly. He loves to lounge in his favourite bed by the window where he can look out and also hang out with you, we watched a lot of Bridgeton together :). Hilo doesn't take long walks and not super active but he likes a couple of potty breaks. Karen appreciate pics of little Hilo while she's away. This sit was a pleasure, I definitely recommend it. Karen and Hilo's home is home is a beautiful, peaceful and serene healing space. The deck overlooking the lake is outstanding, just a peaceful respite. The supermarket is just a short car ride away and restaurants are accessible as well, downtown is a car ride away.
Doug and Alice are fantastic! Meeting them was immediately like meeting up with old friends - they made me feel very welcome. I was given a grand tour of the property (definitely needed for this sit!) and it was wonderful to be able to take advantage of the amenities. Cleo the dog is the sweetest baby EVER!!!! She is very calm - knows her routine, and wants to impress. Ting and Indie each have their own personalities - totally polar opposites - I KINDA feel like Indie is woring on a secret plan to overthrow the government LOL - that is how she skulks around the house - its awesome. Had no issues whatsoever and I would absolutely LOVE to come back anytime!
