I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Siobhan and Aines cosy cottage with Bluska, Tallula and Kanu. These kittys are such lovely characters and so easy to hang out with. They are good company and also super chill with little bursts of playing. I miss them already! The house is in a great location and toasty and warm. Thanks for having me guys !
Outstanding experience in the heart of Toscany! Corinne is a very caring host, always in touch, very organized, and with the most detailed guide on how to handle everything! She invariably made sure that we could be comfortable and happy, throughout the housesit. Miumiu is the older cat, who loves to talk and interact. Mimi is a small furry ball of sugar candy, with an exploring nature, wherefore she has a GPS to easily locate her! They both love being cuddled, brushed, pampered, so pleasant to be around, very welcoming. The house is an architectural jewel, the view outstanding over the Toscana landscape, with plenty of peace, in the company of these extremely cute fluffy cats. We had the most pleasant stay - there is a very magical energy in Corinne's place, artistic, empathic and vibrant, beauty runs deeply in every detail. So, no surprise the cats are also very beautiful and special! Thank you Corinne for letting us experience your place and cuddle MiuMiu and Mimi!
I had such an amazing stay in Salmon Arm with Ruby, Magog and the chickens - Dee and Scott are the friendliest people ever and I can guarantee you will immediately feel at home the second you meet them and step onto their property. They both gave me a tour around the property/city so I was able to get my bearings, and explained everything clearly. Salmon Arm is a gorgeous little city that has everything to offer - although I have to admit I spent more time exploring all the local trails with Ruby (and there are many!) The house was so peaceful, I spent a lot of afternoons reading on the deck with all the animals wandering/sleeping around me - heaven! Ruby is one of the most obedient, adorable dogs I've ever looked after - she is so well behaved and is happy to go with you wherever you go. Magog will lay right on you while you're watching TV or lying in bed, and the chickens were super easy to care for - a lot easier than I expected, and will make you want to get a few of their own :) I also worked from their home and had zero problems connecting with the WiFi, but overall this sit is definitely the perfect place to "disconnect" and explore nature with Ruby by your side. I can't recommend it enough :)
Our stay at Gry’s home in Fredrikstad had a sad beginning because Tarzan, Gry’s much loved Whippet died a few weeks before we arrived. Sverre the cat was missing his mate so we gave him plenty of companionship and attention. In our short meeting with Gry we found her to be most friendly, kind and thoughtful towards us, her home clean and comfortable. Our stay in Fredrikstad was very enjoyable, a great experience! Squid is a super sweet cat! She takes a little bit of time to warm up but is very cuddly when she does. :) She’s quite vocal and got me meowing back and fourth with her. Taylor was an extremely kind, helpful host — she helped me find the nearest major train station when I arrived, and even lent me her Pasmo card during my stay (due to the chip shortage). Great location, super convenient to get around, very nice and quiet area but close to all the action in Shinjuku and Shibuyu.
We had a great time housesitting for Courtney and Preston and looking after Ty and Whiskey. Prior to the sit Courtney sent us a very comprehensive Welcome guide covering the care of boys and the home which we found very useful. It is a very comfortable apartment in a good location and close to public transport, supermarket and restaurants. Sweet Ty is a gentle soul and Whiskey is also very sweet once he gets to know you. They were great to take out for walks and travel with. We will miss them. Would definately recommend this housesit.
