Anna was wonderful! She stayed at my house while I was at Burning Man and out of cell service. Although we never met in person, my best friend went over and met her and the house was in amazing shape when I came back. I would definitely have Anna come stay again.
This was our first pet sitting and we really enjoyed the experience. We went by the day before to meet Trine and her family, Peaches and Tilly included, and to discuss briefly what needed to be looked after. Trine is very relaxed with no strict rules which made it very easy to adapt. The home is very confortable, nice garden and surrounded by forest. No need to worry about where to walk the dogs as either of them, but mainly Peaches, will show you the way. Sometimes Peaches did not want to go out, but most of the times she joined us. The country market is very close with a nice car boot on wednesdays and sundays. We would definitely recommend this sit!
This sit was absolutely amazing! The beautiful home of Alba and Franklin is very clean and spacious. We truly loved this place. It's in a great location as well. You find everything you need within walking distance and you need less then 30 mins with subway to get to Downtown New York. Franklin and Alba are super friendly and welcoming people. They made sure we feel comfortable right away and made sure we have everything we could possibly need! Clotilde is a soul of a cat! She is the most friendly and loving cat we ever met since we started our housesit journey. She is very independent but checks in on you regularly and her various sleeping positions are the cutest thing to see!! We had the hardest time to say goodbye to her and would return in a heartbeat! We can truly say that you can consider yourself lucky if you get the chance to sit for Franklin and Alba. Thank you again for entrusting us with taking care of sweet Clotilde and your fabulous home!
Gwen was well behaved and great company while hiking, so if you like hiking (and you like hiking with dogs), this is a great sit for you! She would keep the same pace as me when hiking, uphill and downhill (which can't be said of all dogs...) Rachel & Blake were great with communication, and easy to get a hold of (which was good because a couple of minor, but urgent things happened with the house that were resolved quickly). The house is in a beautiful setting, clean and comfortable, with a hot tub & a terrific deck I would sit out on and work when the weather was nice. With my car, everything I wanted to get to was only a 10-15 minute drive away. Would definitely recommend & would definitely go back!
Housesitting for Linda and David was absolutely delightful. Their two cats are so affectionate and easy to care for, I already miss them so much! Their home is comfortable and comes with all the modern amenities, and the two of them were exceptionally welcoming and kind. Their house is in a safe neighborhood and street parking was not an issue. I enjoyed my stay immensely and would sit again for them in a heartbeat. If you get the chance to do a housesit with them, take it!
Allison is a wonderful host and responds instantly to any questions. Meeko is very unique, he is more cat than kitty, a very unique pet indeed! Allison’s home is in an amazing area of NYC, you can really enjoy the parks, restaurants and sites all within blocks of the apartment.
We had the most lovely time at Stuart and Michelle's home with Echo and Juliette. The house itself and the location are absolutely stunning. Best of all, Echo and Juliette are just the sweetest pair of kitties you could ask for. They are fun, playful and gentle and will absolutely steal your heart, as they did ours! Stuart and Michelle are the best hosts and are two of the kindest people you'll ever meet. They left us very clear instructions, recommendations for local things to do and sweet welcome gifts when we arrived. Providence is a beautiful picturesque town and there is plenty to do in the neighborhood around their home and shopping nearby. We were sad to have to leave the kitties but we know they have a loving home and that makes us very happy. Thank you for a wonderful stay Stuart and Michelle!
