Dog Sitters in Thorpe Bay

After getting let down at the 11th hour by a confirmed sitter, I reached out to Ian and Tracey who had saved my sit previously to see if they could help. Tracey responded very quickly and following a call the next day, we were able to confirm that she would do the sit alone. Tracey was extremely organised and communicative throughout and arrived first thing in the morning to ensure that the cats were not on their own for too long. She sent regular updates about the cats and the fact that they were more focused on getting in the garden when we returned home rather than having a fuss was a sign that they were very relaxed. We arrived back to a spotless house and milk in the fridge for a cup of tea after our journey. Unfortunately we did not get to meet Tracey on this occasion however I hope in the future that she and Ian can be tempted to sit for us again. I have no hesitation in recommending Tracey to look after your home and pets.

It's always nice to come home to a clean house and happy pets. Naobi is not talking to us, so I know she was happy in their care 😄 Thank you Edward & Kay, we hope we can have you back sometime to sit again.

Hollie was a delight to have looking after MangoTango. She sent me regular updates and kept the house pristine. Happy to have her back any time.

Louisa house sat our menagerie of two ponies, two rescue dogs, three cats and chickens for a long weekend. We returned to happy, relaxed animals and clean house. Thank you Louisa, we hope to see you again in the future.

Yve and Sam helped me out massively as I was let down pretty last minute by a previous boarder. They were perfect sitters and Quila warmed to them instantly so felt very at ease to leave her in their care. Communication was easy, they sent picture updates of their walks with Quila and left the flat clean and tidy. I would highly recommend Yve and Sam to others and would have no hesitation having them back to flat sit and dog sit again.

It was an absolute pleasure to welcome Sophie, Rikki and their adorable little girl, Nellie into our home. They are the perfect housesitters, capable, caring, thorough, organised and just very likeable people. From the initial video call with Sophie, I got along really well with her and just knew that she would be brilliant. She identified that it must take a huge leap of faith to hand over your home and your pets to almost total strangers and go off on holiday for two weeks! Her empathy meant a lot to me. Nellie is a delightful, gentle and sweet little girl and she was very good around the dogs. I believe she and Darcy formed a strong bond. Communication with Sophie beforehand and during the sit was excellent. We had a brief in person hand over before we left and both Sophie and Rikki asked how much/how often we wanted updates, photos, etc. Sophie's updates were thorough and reassuring - detailing how the dogs were eating and sleeping etc., and in particular regarding Elvis' well being/appetite. It can be a challenge balancing the needs and differences between and older, infirm dog and a younger more playful one. Sophie and Rikki managed this well and with kindness (and patience!) towards Elvis. They were diligent about following the dogs' routine and even created their own more concise, easy to use version of my rambling notes on what happens when with each dog. I shall be keeping and using their version for future sitters. Needless to say, we arrived home to an immaculately clean and tidy home and got to spend a little time with Sophie and Rikki and Nellie before they headed off. Do not hesitate to take that leap of faith with this lovely family - they are the safest pair of hands you could find. Michelle, Warren and her two teenaged boys took loving care of both our Moxie and our home. They sent daily photos and updates about Moxie. We stayed in close touch and the family left our home just as we shared it with them. We couldn’t have asked for better house and pet sitters!

Emma was everything we could hope for in a pet / house sitter. She was immediately warm and engaging and we were very confident that Mabel was in safe hands. We came home to a very happy pup and our home was immaculate. We’d love to see Emma again and I know Mabel would too.

From when I first spoke to Sally I had an instant connection with her and a strong instinct that she would be a very zeewoi. This turned out to be absolutely correct! She and Tim came with their beautiful pointer, Plum, and spent two weeks looking after our lurcher, Tess, and the house. Tess had a marvellous time and went for long and exciting walks. We had regular updates - just the right amount. We got back to an immaculately clean house and a very happy dog. Oh and all the seedlings and plants in the greenhouse were looked after too.

I would totally recommend Nicky and her young daughter Alyssa they looked after Evie so well and a golden retriever that is brushed most days looks so beautiful!! Not sure I can keep that up! We were away for two weeks and Nicky’s aunt came too who was very nice. They looked after the house which was lovely and tidy on our return. Watering vegetables and sorting out problems with padlocks on outbuildings were sorted out. Nothing is too much trouble and felt they had had a happy and successful stay.

Neil did a fantastic job pet sitting for Pippa and Iggy. He made sure they both had plenty of exercise, food and fresh water daily whilst giving them lot’s a love and attention. I received updates daily, and could see both dogs thoroughly enjoying the time with Neil and friends ☺️. The house was spotless when I arrived, Neil went above & beyond! Would highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

They are lovely! House was immaculate, pets hadn't missed us at all. I actually think that Monty thinks they are better pet-parents than we are... Everything ship-shape and a couple of photos throughout the holiday showed us all the pets having the time of their lives. Can't beat it.
