Kristine was an outstanding house and pet sitter- I would recommend her to anyone. Why was she outstanding? She consistently went above and beyond to make leaving our home and pets easy. She came to our house the day before we left for a tour and to meet the pets (we have a rambunctious golden retriever and 3 cats). Kristine is friendly, smart, and easy to get along with. The dog loved her instantly. While we were gone, Kristine went above and beyond by reading our dog's training manual and working with her on walking without pulling and not jumping up on people- the dog was better behaved when we got back! The house was tidy and clean, the cats were content, and the dog got walks even on the super rainy days. You will be lucky to have Kristing as your house sitter!
We were very lucky to find Veronica and Adam to sit after being let down at short notice by another sitter. They communicated very well through out the process. The cats were very happy (and got a lot of attention) and the house was left lovely and tidy/clean. I wouldn't hesitate to have them back again for another sit.
Laura was incredibly generous, she picked us up from the bus station and had warm soup waiting at her house. Pili was such a gentle and easy to care for dog, Bella was very talkative and let us know when it was breakfast time, and Piccolla liked to snuggle on the bed. The sit instructions were very clear, with lots of suggestions for places to visit, shop and eat. A fun 20 min walk or 8 peso bus ride to the centro. The house has all amenities and a large comfy bed. When Laura returned she was so kind to give us another ride as it was raining. Thank you Laura!
The pets are sweet, the house and neighborhood are quiet and beautiful and Joelle communicated the pets needs really clearly. A wonderful experience!
I had a really great experience taking care of Bubba Chicken! Bubba is the sweetest companion, she’s really adorable, loves to play, enjoys her walks, loves to cuddle and is very easygoing. I absolutely fell in love with her, she will give you so much love. Malachy, Niamh and their son are incredibly welcoming and kind. They made me feel at home, were very considerate and ensured I knew everything about the house and Bubba. They made sure I felt comfortable with everything. The house is great with everything you need and the neighbor, Carmella, is such a lovely lady. She was really kind to me and we had tea together some days. Thank you once again for everything, Mal and Niamh!
Our 1st house sit and it won’t be our last. Tanya and Dylan were very welcoming and their kitties were a delight to look after, so thank you both for sharing your home with us it made our family Christmas very special :-)
This review is for Freddie, Georgie, Katie and Ben. They were wonderful. Katie and Ben have a sunny, book filled apartment in an interesting section of Brooklyn. Occasionally Freddie likes to start fights with Georgie but he is a good cat inside, and a big sweetie most of the time. The neighborhood reminds me of parts of north and east London because it is so multicultural. There a few sections of New York that are truly like this so it is worth a visit for no other reason. The building itself houses a very heavy smoker so I currently recommend this sit with a strong caveat: do not do this sit without fist visiting.
I really enjoyed sitting Winston! He was very well behaved and Nick and Helen’s place was lovely. Would gladly sit for them again if they ever were in need 😊
