Pet Sitters in Three Anchor Bay

Truly wonderful to have James and Jenny to stay. Their care and kindness truly put my mind at ease knowing my pup was in the best hands!!

Anneke and Dries went above and beyond as trusted house and pet sitters. They sat our young cats for 6 weeks, which was the first time we'd left them in the care of others. We felt fully at ease with our cats in their hands, especially when they had to manage some unexpected challenges as the cats grew more adventurous in exploring their surroundings. They went the extra mile to ensure the cats were both safe and happy over our time away. They were also proactive and communicative about house and garden matters and were always ready to assist with any issues that cropped up. We highly recommend them!

Jane and John were really fantastic, not only did they give our boys a great time, they had the job of taking care of Sam after a small operation on his foot, he was well cared for. They left the place clean and tidy and cooked us a lovely meal on our return. Please come back soon.........

Judy and Gerry are just lovely. They took great care of Jerry our dog and Figaro our cat. By the looks of it both pets took a great liking to our sitters. While away we received many photos and feedback as to how the pets are doing. The apartment was in perfect shape when we returned home. Moreover they prepared an excellent meal to share together before their departure. Both Gerry and Judy are wonderful and we recommend them without the slightest hesitation.

Thank you Barry for taking good care of Joey and Delilah. They both seemed very relaxed on my return. Barry was responsive and organised. He was happy to administer eye drops as Delilah developed an ulcer just before my departure. I imagine Barry could turn his hands to most things and nothing was too much trouble!

Mark was an exceptional house sitter! He took great care of our home and looked after our dogs with love, all the updates were really apprecaited. Communication was easy, and we returned to a clean house and happy pets. Highly recommend!

Lee and Alistair did an absolutely fabulous job of looking after our dogs, gerbils and large rural home for just over two weeks. Communication from the start was smooth and friendly, they were very understanding and accommodating of our departure and arrival times, and extremely attentive in order to ensure our pets and home would be looked after perfectly whilst we were away. It is clear that both take housesitting very seriously, and went over and above to ensure our pets were happy and our home was taken care of. They proactively took care of any small issues that arose, were kind enough to be at home to accept two large furniture deliveries and sent us regular photos and updates about our pets. We returned to a spotless house, happy pets and even the lawns mowed (which is a big deal because we have nearly an acre of lawn and only a small mower!). We would absolutely recommend Lee and Alistair to anyone looking for professional, enthusiastic, friendly and reliable sitters, and wish them all the best on their travels and future sits!

I was fortunate to meet Jenny and Nigel on two occasions. They are delightful people and most importantly Barnaby, my dog, seemed to like them! I was confident leaving the house and dog with them. When I got home the house was immaculate and Barnaby seemed content. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending them.

It was wonderful to have such a lovely lady looking after Puddles. We felt 100% happy leaving him. Mary Anne kept in touch when needed and left our house looking gorgeous and clean. I would highly recommend Mary Anne and we hope that we can one day use here again.

It was such a pleasure having Alison to take care of my cat, she’s an incredible girl, responsable, mature, caring. I recommend 100% having her as a pet sitter!

I can't recommend Cathleen as a pet sitter after my recent experience. Things started well with good communication, and I felt prepared to leave my home and pets in Cathleen’s care due to our regular communication and video chat. However, there were some issues that came up during the sit. On the morning I left, I had to explain how to lock my self-locking front door, which made me a bit concerned about her comfort level with basic tasks. I also gave a detailed briefing on my pets’ care, including Sophie’s walking schedule and the importance of regularly emptying Teddy’s litter box to avoid any odors. His urine goes outside the pan at times. Cathleen seemed to understand this. I later found out that Sophie wasn’t walked according to the schedule I provided. After reviewing my outdoor camera footage, I noticed that during the last four days of the sit, Sophie was walked 2-3 hours late in the mornings, and some days her afternoon walk was skipped altogether. During the sit, Cathleen told me how my bedroom rug smelled like urine. There were also a few mix-ups with communication while I was away. For example, when I offered to have a friend drop by if she needed to leave early the day the sit ended, Cathleen misunderstood and thought I was telling her she had to stay, which led to a bit of an awkward conversation. I ended up having to clarify things over the phone, which wasn’t ideal while I was on vacation. Cathleen also didn’t wash the linens she used, despite my reminder before I left and the instructions in the welcome guide. When she asked about a change of linens, I reminded her there was an extra set by the bed, but she later mentioned she hadn’t used the top sheet or blanket and didn’t think she needed to wash them. It felt like there was a bit of a misunderstanding about expectations. 4 days after the sit ended, Cathleen sent me a series of messages and photos about the state of the litter box, accusing me of not having cleaned it for weeks. This was surprising, as four different sitters had been in my home before her, all of whom kept the box clean. I cleaned and washed the litter box the night Cathleen arrived. I tried to explain that this was covered in our initial chat. Cathleen continued to send me messages even though I asked her not to. I eventually had to block her number and reach out to zeewoi for help. Overall, this sit didn’t go as smoothly as I’d hoped. While Cathleen seemed pleasant at first, there were a few issues that made me feel uneasy about the experience.
