We absolutely loved having Bia & Dani as sitters, and so did our dog and cat! Do not hesitate, pick them... even over us, if they ever apply for the same sit as us! They are pleasant, reliable, respectful, they enjoy animal company and love the outdoors. Bia and Dani applied for our sit several months in advance. Coincidentally, they were in Hawaii at the time, where we were going to be when they'd come to our place. During the months leading to the sit, we were pleased to receive messages or photos from them from time to time of the places they visited, making us look forward to our own trip. They were such a great fit for our active standard poodle Charlie, walking, running, and taking him out on various trails (numerous energetic photos as proof of fun!) and respecting his routine to a T. Charlie has house rules that are important to us (not allowed in the kitchen and on funiture, sit & wait for a command when it's time to eat, not bark at passerby when he sees them through the window, to name a few). Dani and Bia had familiarized themselves with the Welcome Guide, meticulously confirmed the routine when they first arrived and were excellent at enforcing it, which we appreciated a lot, coming back to a dog that maintained his training. As for our cat Asterix, although he loves humans, he sometimes, out of the blue, gets fed up with being pet. Well, based on the pictures that Dani & Bia sent us, Asterix never seemed to have had enough of it! As if taking excellent care of our home and pets wasn't enough, Bia & Dani served as great tour guides for us in Hawaii. They recommended attractions and beautiful hikes, sometimes giving us tips while we were on a particular trail so we wouldn't miss the best of it! We felt we had our own private professional tour guides present with us! Not only did they take care of our place and pets, they remotely took care of us as well. Can we say "ultimate sitters"?! When our return flight was delayed by 3 hours, Bia & Dani graciously stayed as long as possible before leaving for their friends' place, where they were expected to petsit. This was fine, as there was just a few hours gap between their departure and our arrival home. This unfortunately meant that we didn't get to see them upon our return. After almost a month away, we came home to a spotless & tidy house, everything in its place, bedding and towels washed, a note containing pertinent information about their stay and a delicious salad awaiting for us. Bia & Dani, we would love for you to take care of Charlie & Asterix again if you ever decide to come back this way. Good luck with your travels and Mahalo!
Julie was more than we could have asked for or expected! She came early & stayed late after having some unexpected things go wrong. Our new rescue donkey whose skittish was spooked by our dog while we were away & he busted down a gate. She was able to act quickly & intelligently to solve the problem to put our mind at ease. She was able to care for all 22 animals while we were away & was able to even help us with one of our older sick kitties. We’re so thankful to have had her stay here & we’d have her back anytime she can come in the future!!
