This was Marc's first zeewoi sit, and he came through with flying colors! He took time to meet Karma, tour our apartment complex, and even accompanied us to the park to get used to playing frisbee -- all before the actual sit took place. And when I returned home, I did so to a sparkling clean apartment. I mean, I've had maid services that didn't do as good a job cleaning as Marc did. All things considered, I would definitely recommend Marc to anyone looking for a sitter.
It has only been a couple of days since we said goodbye to Reuben and we are missing him already. Reuben instantly warmed to us and was amazing company for our stay. He has a beautiful nature and has been trained very well by Rebecca and Duncan. Rebecca and Duncan welcomed us with open arms and even left us a bowl of goodies for our stay. Their home is meticulously maintained and extremely comfortable. Communication was clear and concise. Thank you guys and hopefully we meet again. Linda and Steve.
This was an amazing sit from beginning to the end. JC is very communicative and easy going. Her house is beautiful with majestic views and the walking path is right out her front door. Now, onto Linus.... the smartest, sweetest dog I ever met. He is very "Adaptable" and loves to go everywhere with you. We took him on his first boat ride and he was a "great first mate" and seemed to really enjoy it. He is affectionate and I miss him already but hope to see him again someday. Thank you JC and Linus. Sending lots of hugs!
My stay at Andreas and Nira’s home was one of my favorite sits. They allowed me stay the night before they left, and stay a day after the sit, which was so nice getting to meet them both. They had a beautiful, quiet, flat overlooking the park and we were able to see animals almost every day. Boko is the sweetest cat and loved to come in and cuddle in bed with me at night. I loved my stay, and hope I get the opportunity again some day.
Madigan's family's two dogs and gecko were fun to take care of: Molly, little whirlwind, loves to run and run and run. Not just on the leash, but let loose after her regular walk around the neighborhood (on the leash) in her own garden. We motivated her to run at first by throwing smaller balls (not the big tennis balls) that she can fit her mouth around. She loved this and we tried to fulfill her excercie needs about three times a day. And I made sure to stand by her food dish after so Scooter wouldn't snatch her food while she was finishing. Scooter is rather chilled, but with a three-times-a-day walking schedule can pick up more interest and curiosity as well again when on walks with Molly. At first he seemed a bit picky with the ground under his feet - he seems to not like wet grass, but with every walk he got more accustomed and even started galloping like Molly. He won't run around the garden like Molly after a walk, but rather just watch and then finally wobble up the deck stairs to wait for his food. After each walk I entered back through the garden gate, so they wouldn't head back inside dirty and could run in the yard a bit more. Then up the deck stairs, wiping their feet on a towel, then entering the kitchen/living room. At last, they got their promised food which I had already prepared before (so the meat from the fridge could warm up in their bowls before they ate it). Gecko Spike is a lovely reptile. I kept her terrarium as humid as possible to make her comfortable and fed her 5 crickets a day. The guest quarters were quite comfortable and the dogs loved joining at night and slept through well.
We had a wonderful time in Loris Apartment with Patsy. Patsy is a shy cat who likes to be around you, but also needs time to herself. She likes to play and to be on the balcony. We'd love to come back!
This was all we could ask for in a first sit! Ina was so gracious to trust us with her awesome puppy Lucky! She FaceTimed us and got to actually know us and we were able to get to know about her and Lucky! And when it was time to meet she let us come a day early to get to know Luck, walk him, feed him, learn his schedule, tricks, etc. This helped so much! We were in a great location and we were able to find our way around the house. Lucky was the best doggo ever! He was so playful and loves tug of war. He knows how to sit, lay, shake, and even wait for his food! It was such an honor to watch Lucky and just spend quality time with him. We will miss him so much because he warms up so fast and makes you feel like you’re apart of his family! 10/10 would recommend this sit. :)
