I had such a wonderful time sitting for Alex and John. All four pets are absolute sweethearts. Flash and Moose are huge cuddle bugs, and Bella and Lightning will also stick close to you in the evenings seeking and showing love. The home is very comfortable, and care for the pets is a breeze. They all spend much of the day outside, coming in/out through their pet door. The dogs will demand some time throwing balls once or twice each day, which i was happy to oblige in the backyard. I also took them on a few adventures- to the beach and into the redwood forest, both close by. The communication and instructions were clear. It was very helpful to have use of a car. Highly recommend!
I had the pleasure of caring for Blue in a lovely home cared for by her TH pet parents. Susan was a joy to work with and I was able to visit the family at their home before my TH pet sit. As Blue was a new addition to the family I was cautious during my stay, but able to work with Blue without treats, just praise. Blue is a great dog, very intelligent and a excellent companion. I highly recommend Susan and Blue as a very enjoyable TH pet sit experience.
This was definitely one of the best sits i’ve ever had - highly recommended to sit for this beautiful family! Everything about this sit was just perfect. Bolt the dog is a very special sweetheart, i totally fell in love with him. Very smart, sensitive, loving, well trained and attuned to the person who’s taking care of him. Richard shared with me beforehand that sometimes Bolt could have a lot of strength when he sees a squirrel or something else he wants to greet:) I felt with being present with him on walks, and talking to him a bit upfront, his eagerness was easy to handle. He is a great hiking buddy to explore the beautiful nature around Ojai, and he loved trips with the car. He was very relaxed, and a true joy to be around! Richard & Mia are great people - very kind & easy-going. I immediately felt welcomed. Mia even prepared some wonderful local goodies for me and they brought me a delicious dinner on the way back and offered me to stay for another night because of my long drive back. Communication was great and i appreciated their kindness, generosity and trust they had in me, to just feel at home at their beautiful new property, which comes with lap pool, beautiful outside areas, Pixie Orchard and a great vibe! Thank you Richard & Mia for an unforgettable amazing experience & so much kindness, i would definitely come back any time to take care of Bolt again!
As soon as we met Camilla & Keith we felt at ease. They have a beautiful home & fabulous garden which was super clean & tidy and very easy to relax in. They were kind and left us a few supplies and recommended places for us to visit, which was much appreciated.But to the real reason we were there.,Tigger, what a lovely cat. Andy fell in love with him immediately and we often found him stretched out on the bed or just lying outside on the cool paving. He loves to brush up against your legs and purrs loudly and is quite vocal when he wants his food. He has beautiful markings and looks as though he is wearing a pair of striped socks. All in all it was a fabulous 2 days in a beautiful home, a lovely part of the country and a gorgeous feline companion. We cannot recommend this sit highly enough.
Lupe is a lover! She is suddenly your best friend. :D Lupe was super easy on walks and loves caresses a lot. She slept with me and is the sweetest, super social and funny girl! <3 Robyn is the perfect host! Communication was excellent. The place was very, very clean and cozy :) Perfect and fast public transport to Manhattan. I had a great time and It will be a great experience for you! Thank you so much Girls! :)
