April's home is warm and welcoming. You can feel the love and care that her and her family have put into this Queenslander home. We felt safe, relaxed and comfortable with four loving doggos, throughout our stay. We never got the chance to meet April, but she kept in touch to make sure we were okay and anything else that may be useful to us or places to go check out. If we ever needed anything, we could just ask. We were told about Barkley's barking but he was great with us, until the leashes came out and got excited to go walkies or locked outside when we were leaving or cleaning. But he does settle. He was good with us. All of them were good on their walk. Rusty gets excited and pulls when seeing birds, and other dogs. On the walks, Delta and Rusty were in front with Serena, Barkley and Ruby behind with Steven. If Serena was behind, Barkley will wait for her to pass or kept turning back to see her. I consider that a compliment and a very loyal gesture. Delta set the walking pace too, the old girl was a pleasure to be with and the most behaved. Ruby is a good fair player when a ball is around and loves to lick you in the mornings. She's very photogenic too! Lismore is a chilled and relaxed location with its own eccentric culture and events near and around the area. Sunday markets were nice to visit, The Bank Cafe had a great breakfast/lunch menu and excellent coffee here and at other local cafes. Byron Bay is a 50 minute drive away. We enjoyed our stay! We were beyond pleased with the care our two smaller dogs received. We too, can't say enough good things about Lisa. The perfect dog friendly place. Our pups felt right at home and probably didn't want to leave . From the photo updates that she sent, they looked like they were in doggy paradise! I'm sure they can't wait to go back. Lisa's own dogs are just the sweetest, and I know they put off such positive vibes, it helps the visitors feel comfortable. Thank you, again, for the wonderful care.
Our dog, Carter, absolutely loves going over to Lisa’s. Our lab stayed for a few weeks at Lisa’s during a move and he had so much fun playing with all her dogs and running around on her property. Lisa was so good to communicate, and to make sure he adjusted well. He loves going over to her house. He gets excited every time he sees where we are going. I would highly recommend Lisa. It is nice to know our dog is going to a safe, fun, and loving environment when we are gone.
Best experience our dogs have ever experienced . We have four pups and we travel often. Within two weeks of any planned trip when we leave our dogs, I start to panic. Not ever again! Luke, Levi, Izzy and Brody had the best time with Lisa and her awesome pack of pups. We received daily pics and I could see how much fun they were having. Like a vacation of their own! ❤️ Lisa, thank you for the attention to the details of each of our pups needs and the love you provided to each of them while we were away for almost two weeks. 🙌🏽🙌🏽They came back to us happy and looking and smelling great! 👍🏽🐶 Finally I can travel without the guilt!
Ruff Life is the only place I will take my dogs when we go on vacation. Lisa is amazing! She loves dogs and treats every single one as her own. My dogs love her and love their "vacations" at Ruff Life. She has a huge property (8 acres) and exercises the dogs multiple times a day. They get treats every evening and then lounge all over the house. She provides updates every day and is careful to personalize care as needed. I can't say enough about how great Lisa is -- she is above and beyond any other pet sitter/boarding I've experienced.
Lisa was absolutely amazing with our dogs. She sent several updates and treated them as if they were her own dogs. Now I know I can have peace of mind when I go on vacation with leaving our fur babies with her. Would highly recommend!!

Lisa was a wonderful caretaker for our 2 dogs, a grouchy, non-socialized doodle and a Havanese puppy. She spoiled them rotten for almost a week. She kept us updated with all of their adventures multiple times a day. We will definitely use her again.

I have never experienced a more caring environment for my dog. I received pictures several times a day. Tobi was able to sleep and hang out in the house, and received many many opportunities to run and play outside with the other dogs. She was groomed and loved and happy! I will never go anywhere else!!!

We switched from our previous indoor dog daycare to South Hound and wish we would have switched sooner. Our dog loves South Hound! Every week he waits excitedly by the door to get picked up by Krista in the dog van and always comes home tired and happy. Krista is so great with our dog even though he has a strong personality! We love the updates and photos we receive via text each week, too. This service is a great price for how happy it makes my dog. I would absolutely recommend South Hound to anyone!!

Can’t say enough good things about South Hound and Hayley. The diverse socialization, the individual care, the level of exercise, and the attention to manners is a dream for parents and pups. My dog waits everyday for Hayley to arrive and always seems to be a little let down when it’s over, she loves it so much. I can’t believe we stumbled upon this because it’s such an unbelievable outing for our pup. Willow is definitely living her best life with Hayley and the pup posse. And Hayley is truly a dog wizard! Oh man I wish I could give more than just five stars! This is the absolute BEST service ever! Not only do they pick my buddy Skipper up, but he’s delivered home in a happier mood than when he left, (if thats even possible!) Haley is so sweet and good with him, and they bonded during our consultation meeting. Skippers manners have even improved! I’m just thrilled and relieved to have a dog who is well exercised and sufficiently tuckered out at the end of the day when I get home from work! Best dog care service EVER!
The owners of South Hound have been at this forever, or should I say furever! I have always been so impressed with haleys ability to love all animals she comes into contact with and her personability with the humans who have the animals is uncommon. Haley is humorous, passionate, professional, and has an eye for detail I have never seen in any other pet care professional before. Seriously, what an amazing find. I would trust her anytime with my animals, even my stubborn, headstrong rottweiler doberman pup!

As a pet owner, it’s crucial for me to find a place that authentically care about animals as well as having the true skills and training to deal with all kinds of pet personalities. That’s exactly what you get with the folks at South Hound and I’m so glad I found them, and that they are back in action! After meeting my dog for only a few minutes, Haley was completely tuned into his personality and needs. Apparently, my barky dog was more insecure than just a jerk. She mixed him into a smaller small dog group (he’s a medium dog) and she was right - his confidence grew while his barking went down. He became much more easier to walk, especially when dogs his size or bigger was around. Also used them for in-house petsitting and felt complete confidence in their attentiveness and professionalism - proven also by our home camera security system (which, yes, they knew about!). Can’t say enough good things about these fine folks - your dog will thank you!!

Our dog Robin loves staying here when we are on trips. The staff here is amazing and always does a great job grooming her before she gets picked up. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a boarding place in Lacey.
We recently left our dog day care provider because of a conflict in operational requirements of our dogs. The operator running a compliance first, companionship second philosophy. Our dogs don’t need to be in day care regularly, but every so often and we’re looking for a place where they can have fun, gain social exposure and be safe when we’ll be gone for a longer than normal time during the day. Bark yes also addressed our needs for occasional additional services. Since I’m reviewing this on what is just their second day there, we haven’t taken advantage of the services just yet, but we will. The idea that they’re not playing in muddy rainy exteriors all day is amazing. I am Happy they are welcome at Bark Yes and a behavioral “report card” they submit during the stay is awesome. So if there are some issues with behavior or interactions we know what to do at home. So far, as I said I’m glad they are in a place where they can be safe, have fun, and be well cared for. Beyond recommended!
I would highly recommend Bark Yes. Our dog LOVES going there, the staff is always helpful and friendly to us both! Spencer (our dog) always comes home happy, tired and smelling so good. I really appreciate knowing that our pup is having a great time when he's there.

I’ve been taking my dog here since I’ve moved here this summer and it’s so nice to know I don’t have to worry about my fur baby! He always has an amazing time and is excited to go and then sleeps like a baby when we get home! I’ve been on extended trips where I get happy pupdates and he always smells amazing after his exit bath! Excellent and understanding staff! Highly recommend!
Don’t usually leave reviews but I went here after great recommendations and positive online reviews but honestly was left disappointed. Took our dog for grooming. Yes they bathed him but just stuck him in a kennel to dry. He has long hair and requires a brush but he wasn’t brushed at all. Still pretty damp when we picked him up, which isn’t terrible but usually he’s dry when we go other places. His face still leaves our hands greasy and smelly when we pet him. Probably the worst bath our dog has gotten. It was the cheapest bath I’ve ever gotten. So if you’re looking for affordable and have a short haired dog probably would be okay. Would not recommend long haired pups. Also paid for a nail trim and his nails weren’t touched. Not worth the price. I usually only bathe him once a month. He’ll need another bath in probably a week. Could honestly use one again today because his hair on his face and ears are still pretty greasy. The staff was really nice and helpful but unfortunately I will not come be back here.
Our two dogs Artemis and Aspen, have been to a couple of day care places but when we went to bark yes we knew it was the right place. Before they would hide in the corner and not play but here they have turned into playing maniacs and are so excited to go to daycare. We love having bark yes as an option for our high energy dogs to go to and have fun. We trust them to look after our babies, and that it huge. The staff is always friendly and we appreciate all you do to help care for our girls!

I have three dogs and have left my dogs at BarkYes on a few occasions. Each time has been a worse and worse experience, I recommend after one bad experience not to bring them back. Last October we left our dogs and they were returned covered in pee and dehydrated. I thought of it as a fluke and decided to give them another chance this August. Our dogs were left Friday morning and picked up Saturday evening. One night cost almost $300, which would have been worth it had they been treated properly. When we picked them up, all three reeked of pee. One specific was soaked with urine. When I called they stated they had an influx of dogs for the weekend so smaller play spaces and that our dog may have rolled in other dogs' pee. I was offered a free bath, which was unnecessary since I called after immediately bathing them at home. They stated if the dogs had been there longer, they would have called to ask if I would like to pay for a bath. To me, my dogs were not treated properly and it sounds like this boarder is exceeding its limit on the amount of dogs it can handle. I will not be bringing my dogs back and would not recommend to others.
Bark Yes! Is our baby boy's hone away from home. He loves the staff like family and is always excited when we pull in, he can't wait to get out and play with his friends! Hands down the BEST peace of mind knwoung he is cared for when we are away! We love Bark Yes!
Beccie was great! She was kind and worked with me on drop off and pick up times because of my non-traditional work schedule. The space she has for cats was fabulous, it was clean and there was no animal smell or dirt anywhere. She made sure my cat was up to date on vaccines and had me fill out paperwork describing her food schedule. I'd absolutely use The Cat's Pajamas again and highly recommend it to anyone who cares about their cat.
I can't say enough good things about Beccie at Cats Pajamas! This was our first time boarding Pistachio here, and it couldn't have been a better experience. Right from the start, Beccie made us feel like family. She greeted us warmly and showed genuine care for Pistachio's well-being. The place itself is spotless and has such a cozy vibe - you can tell Beccie puts her heart into every detail. With Beccie's years of experience, we felt completely at ease leaving Pistachio in her care. Meeting the other cats staying there was a bonus; it felt like a little cat community! What I really appreciated was the lack of pressure. Beccie gave us space to settle in and didn't rush us at all. It was clear she genuinely loves what she does and cares deeply for all the cats she looks after. Beccie, thank you for giving us peace of mind while we were away and for taking such great care of Pistachio. We'll definitely be recommending Cats Pajamas to all our fellow cat lovers! We'll be back!

Beccie the owner is so kind and accommodating, you can definitely trust her to take good care of your cats. The building/facilities have many toys, beds, and other items to enrich your cats. she lets them all out to roam around so they don't feel cooped up. Great experience every time I bring my two cats to Cats Pajamas!
My cat Scooter stayed here for 2 weeks while my husband and I traveled for our wedding/honeymoon. After reading the reviews and speaking with the owner I knew Scooter would be well taken care of. The owner’s friendliness and kindness was consistent in every interaction I had. When picking him up I was given time to give Scooter some love and see the other cats. Scooter seemed very pleased with his stay. The location is cute, calm and quiet. I’d stay here if I could. We will always use The Cat’s Pajamas for our boarding needs.
Amazing place for your cat! I almost wanted to not post so I could keep it a secret, but Beccie and Terry are so fabulous, and your cat deserves to enjoy this place if you need to be gone, that I just had to. Terry took extra effort to build a ventilation system for the cattery and there isn't one whiff of litter boxes in the place. There's a lot of space for the cats to roam, and it's a wonderful environment for your cat! Highly recommend!!
These guys are the best in the state by far...these people are kind and really care about cats. 5 stars. Owners recently had to coordinate with one of my cats vet when my poor baby got sick from an earlier dental operation while I was out of town and cats were boarded at cats pajamas...she got the kitty meds and even tricked my cat into taking them for 3 days:)... we are all healthy now and I will continue using cats pajamas for my 2 kitties :) cats love it there...
Wonderful facility! We used their boarding facility during our move and it was extremely well priced, the owners are super friendly and accommodating and the atmosphere was very calm. We have a kitty who stresses out REALLY bad during boarding and was previously not allowed to return to two other boarding places due to his aggression under stress. They accepted him with open arms and respected his space while he was there. I highly recommend this facility over others in the area due to better accommodations and quieter atmosphere.
I am Rocky and a 10 year old slightly undertall cat. First I want to say Cat’s Pajamas is the place to go when your human goes on vacation. I had lots of sleeping room, and my cubical had lots of fresh air through a carefully made ventilation system, I barely noticed the fine friends around me at the beginning. The human (I hear her name is Becky) cleaned the box three times a day, gave me the pills I needed to keep my food down (got a little gastro issue) and generally loved and cared for me. The best part, big screen TV with tropical fish rolling around around all day and night. Not even pay per view. Definitely getting my own TV when I am home. I am looking forward to going here again next time my humans go away.
