Aww Bertie is such a sweetheart, and Gwen and her Partner Matthew are just PEACHY to be around🥰🥰 I had the pleasure to spend a few hours with all three of them on both the evening of my arrival and on the morning of my departure, and I could have asked for kinder folk, or a more wholesome experience overall :) Hurst Green is stunningly gorgeous, with hiking trails galore, and a GREAT little greengrocer/cafe just 5-10 minute walk up the way, and they’re actually currently expanding the cafe, which offers delicious assortment of sandwiches and drinks. Very veg-friendly, too :) I hope our paths all cross again one day, or two, or three.. I’d love to see Hurst Green in October, if anyone was thinking of planning a trip..
Jerome and Katlaina were such wonderful hosts. Their home is lovely and peaceful, situated in a quiet, sweet, gated community right on the edge of Bellingham, close enough to everything. And then there's Pepper :) Such a joyful, wise, heartwarming little guy. I couldn't get enough of him! He was a great tour guide for some of beautiful local trails and fun walks through the neighborhood. And he Loves to play hide and go seek in the house! He brought on many smiles and giggles, the best medicine ever :) I will miss him terribly. I highly recommend this sit. 5 stars Plus all around!
