Marty and Betty couldn’t be nicer, more welcoming or have a better dog than Wilson! We really enjoyed every second with any and all of them and appreciate the care they took to ensure we were comfortable in their stunning home and felt as if they were long lost friends from the beginning! We were lucky enough to share some meals with them and get to know them and honestly, we could have talked to them forever! They’re just the nicest, most thoughtful and inspirational people you could possibly know:) They very generously let us use their kayaks and hot tub and even made sure the hot tub was recently cleansed with chemicals and took the time and effort to ask about any food dislikes and allergies etc before making us an amazing welcome dinner and buying things for our stay to have on hand. They made sure to have all kinds of yummy and healthy food for us but also made us a homemade, amazing meal, complete with the very best cookies ever! Their home is gorgeous, spotless and very comfortable with amazing views, plenty of cozy places to sit and they took the time to make room for our coats and clothes in the entry way and bedroom too. We were connected with their really sweet and fun neighbor and had some nice playdates with her and her dog, Pickles as well as enjoyed a really helpful welcome guide to the best food etc in the area. Both of those things showed some of their immense kindness, attention to details, warmth, helpfulness and hospitality and we just felt right at home and comfortable in the area immediately as a result of their friendship and efforts. We had the most wonderful time ( and meals) with them and the warm greeting from Wilson and his overall cuteness was an immediate hug to our souls and hearts too. He is so well behaved, so cute, so much fun to have around and wr just adore and miss him so much, and can’t wait to be back! Our next visit is already being discussed and planned and can’t come soon enough!! Anyone would be incredibly lucky to sit for thr Wonderful Welts!!!
I loved caring for Sputnik; he is an absolute sweetheart! Sonal and Ren are a lovely couple and their Silver Lake home is beautiful and inviting. I look forward to caring for Sputnik again. :)
It was amazing to house sit at Andrea's place. The key handover was very smooth and Andrea & Tobi were very welcoming (even had a welcome board for us!). We fell in love with Mike immediately, he is so cute and affectionate, definitely one of the most friendly cats we have interacted with. He likes his play time and also loves cuddling - on the work desk, sofa, bed etc. Also extremely well behaved and very caring. It was so hard to say goodbye to him, he is very special! The apartment was simply amazing, the pictures don't do justice, it's much bigger and brighter. We loved the interior design, especially the living room area plus we liked that there were 2 home office work desks so my wife and I could work conveniently. Its also very clean and organized. The location was also nice, tram and S-bahn is 5-7 minutes away plus cafes and restaurants are also nearby. Communication with Andrea was always easy and uncomplicated, the whole sit felt very well organised and I appreciated how quickly she took care of things whenever I had a question. So all in all we had a wonderful time and enjoyed this sit so much, we would love to come back and can only recommend it.
Joanna and Henry were very helpful in supplying all the information we needed for a smooth pet sit with Suki and Rostov. We felt very welcome. The house is lovely and the garden adjacent to the woods down to Lago di Bracciano is very peaceful. We spent most days hanging out with the cats either in the cosy sitting room or by the pool on the terrace.
I've just spent a lovely two weeks looking after Hatty! Ian & Rachel prepared a lovely meal for me on my arrival & gave me a very comprehensive tour of the house, which accompanied their thorough home guide. My favourite thing about Hatty is when she comes through the cat flap, she announces her arrival back home! I loved to have Hatty curled up on my lap of an evening, and she likes to explore the garden during the day. I managed to get exploring on the weekends, La Terraza in Marlborough is a great place for Tapas! Avebury Stones is a must see also. I was quite fond of swimming in the river at Axford, there's a little weir, and is the perfect spot during quieter times. Ian & Rachel's home has everything you need a plus is watching the sunset up in the treehouse with a wine! Be sure to order a pizza from the woodfired pizza van that visits the village on a Wednesday, they are exquisite! Thank you for a wonderful sit!
We miss our furry, four legged friends already! Mama Emma, Princess Charlotte and Baby Bentley were amazing, well behaved, and loved play. They each gifted us with unconditional love and laughter. Ruhann and Mark were the perfect hosts. We are grateful to have had this opportunity to care for their three kiddos. Communication was brilliant and we couldn't have asked more from this sit. Ruhann and Mark’s home was very comfortable with all the amenities. Should you have an opportunity to house sit, We highly recommend it. We look forward to the next one!
