Ohifeme and Zibu were great hosts. I enjoyed my apartment-sit in Seattle. Zibu is a relaxed cat to care for. Once you're buddies, he loves getting pets and playing with toys (hoodie strings being a strong favorite). Has a nice habit of bumping you with his noggin when you're filling the food or emptying the litter for him. The apartment is in a wonderful location for seeing Seattle, close to the link rail and bus routes to get around if you're using the metro. The space, including kitchen, had most things a person could hope for and the in-building laundry is easy to use. Feme's a nice guy, a gracious host, and we communicated easily and well.
Had a great stay at Andrea's, she is the best ever communicator and provided excellent information for our stay. The kittens were great company and entertained us throughout our visit.
I absolutely loved my stay in Calistoga with Lollie by my side. When I first arrived, she was so happy to see me and we became fast friends. She was so easy to care for. I spent a week taking her out to different Calistoga attractions that are dog-friendly like the Petrified Forest, the Old Faithful Geyser, Concerts in the Park (summer only), and the Old Hill Mine Trail. There are quite a few restaurants in Calistoga that have patio seating and are dog-friendly so I took her with me when I could. At night, she liked to sleep next to me under the covers. She likes to bark at other dogs so if you walk past another dog walking their human, be prepared to hold her back (which is easy since she's so small) because she gets excited. Small but adorably fierce. :) Lollie loves to play. Sometimes when I would be working on my laptop, I would hear her make a sound behind me. When I turned around to look at her to see what she wanted, she would almost always have her ball or stuffed animal beside her because she wanted some play time. It was the cutest thing. Michelle and Blake's home is beautiful in a quiet community. I love how the back deck looks out to a vineyard. I spent some time, both mornings and afternoons, out on the deck when it wasn't too hot and Lollie liked staying out with me. Communication was easy if anything came up. Before my stay, Michelle gave me a tour of her place through Facetime since they had to leave super early in the morning for their flight. I loved my stay! Another wonderful house and pet-sitting experience in the books!
This housesit for Sarah and Paul in Rute was great. The house has a fantastic location with the most stunning views on Iznajar lake, the mountains and on a clear day the Sierra Vevada. Very quiet in the middle of thousands of olive trees, but not isolated. Its only a 40 minutes walk (or 10 minutes drive) to Rute whith shops, supermarket, bars and restaurants. Sarah and Paul are very friendly and kind. They gave us a warm welcome and showed us around, the day before they left. In the evening we enjoyed a very tasteful meal that Sarah prepared. The housesit was very easy and not much work at all because Milo was in hibernation. So unfortunatly we didn't even see him. We can definitly recommend this housesit and hopefully we can come back to housesit for them again. Thank you very much dear Sarah and Paul for your hospitality. We hope to see you again
