My time here has been delightful! I was greeted with warmth and kindness, and the furry friends made it even more enjoyable. Lauren provided detailed care instructions, making everything smooth. She was great at communicating when I had questions. :) Their lovely home is just a mile from Downtown Livermore. Once you get the hang of handling a mini zoo, it’s easy to anticipate their reactions. It’s very easy to care for them and I actually enjoy being in an environment with 3+ animals. The pets have interesting personalities and it kept me entertained. Lexie and Blaze are stereotypical Labs. Blaze is calm once he adjusts but can be goofy just like his sister, while Lexie is an attention seeker and gives nonstop kisses.The cats were self-sufficient. Jack is more dog-like from the rest of the cats. Quinn is more independent but definitely driven by food, just like Jack. They both will race each other when they know it’s meal time. Charlie is often MIA, but he is chatty and doesn’t mind cuddles when he’s up for it. Occasionally, the cats bully Lexie for her clumsiness, as she sometimes doesn’t realize how big she is. Lol Thanks for the generosity and inviting me here! I had a wonderful time and enjoyed all the cuddles and kisses.
Fantastic sit with Tilly. She is the sweetest wee dog to look after. Loves her routines and lots of snaps in between wee walks. Joyce is a wonderful host and her house is absolutely gorgeous. I hope to be asked to sit again.
David and Fiona made us feel very welcome from the outset. Their home and garden is very beautiful. Moffat and Nessa were a delight to look after. We hope to see David, Fiona and the girls again soon. The area is beautiful and is surrounded by countryside, with easy walks from the door. Moffat and Nessa are well behaved. We thoroughly enjoyed our first sit, it was a great experience. Thank you David, Fiona, Moffat and Nessa.
An amazing and quiet place with lovely cats!
I can't say enough wonderful things about Wendy and Owen. They are two of the most gracious and generous people on the planet. After my sitting assignment with them got cancelled because of COVID lockdowns, they invited me to live in their loft since I was stranded in the UK. I've since returned to care for Alfie while they were tending to their holiday home in Spain. Their son now occupies the loft. He is exactly as they describe him -- kind, smart, respectful, and mostly at work. Their living room and kitchen both have doors I could close and I had my own bathroom adjacent to the bedroom. As a single female, I felt very comfortable and private. (In fact, I felt safer than usual knowing there was another person in the house.) Alfie is so funny -- one of the most personable dogs I've met -- and friendly...and whip-smart! Extremely well-trained! I'd give TEN stars if I could!
