Thank you Ambra and Sean for a most wonderful time in your beautiful home and glorious garden - and best of all - the company of handsome and affectionate Phokey. At night, I felt his warm weight on the bed. In the morning he would lead me down the steps to replenish his food bowl and open the door for him into the garden, his favorite place to hang out during the day. I loved watching him sit on top of the garden shed and survey the neighboring gardens. The house is on a quiet street, but just five minutes walk and you are in the center of Walthamstow, a lively multicultural community with many lovely stores and great restaurants. As a textile artist, I was delighted to find the William Morris Museum with it’s wonderful exhibits close by, or I took the Victoria Line to the V&A or even across town to the Dulwich Picture Gallery and their beautiful park. But I was always happy to return to the quiet house and hang out with Phokey in the peaceful garden, a little paradise of many glorious and well cared for plants in spring bloom. I couldn't have wished for a a better stay. I was sad to leave and miss Phokey already. I hope all is well with you and River and Phokey. All the best Irene
I had a wonderful time house sitting for Kelley. Her pets are sweet and laid back. Easy to love and care for when needing time away to enjoy Asheville and the surrounding area. The house was very clean and tidy upon arriving and it is my habit to always have a clean home when the owner returns. Kelley was exceptional in responding to any and all inquiries whenever I reached out before, during and after my stay in her home. I would welcome pet sitting for Kelley in the future.
Toto and Teal are beautiful dogs, fun and extremely well behaved, who made our stay an absolute treat. Our long walks across the stunning Constantine Bay or across fields and golf courses were full of joy. Emma was very relaxed, easy to get along with and responsive to our communications. It's a gorgeous bright home, which was spotless when we arrived, with loads of space and comfortable facilities, plus a lovely large bed in an ensuite room. Emma even introduced us to the local store owners over the road, which helped us get a sense of being part of the community there. There's a bus service up and down the coast from right outside the door and finding vegan dishes at the very local golf club restaurant was a bonus! We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this sit. Thanks to Emma, Charlie and the dogs.
Humphrey and Peanut are a delight! An easy petsit with adorable basset hounds in a spacious house on Sugar Mountain. Close to Banner Elk and Grandfather Mountain. Nice folks, great dogs, beautiful view!
I probably misread the description, but I thought we'd have convenient access to paddling. The dog displayed dominance, which we quickly got over. We enjoyed our walks. Croix was a fun dog. The house was very clean and organized. Lots of room and access to the Northwoods.

Erica has been our GO TO Zookeeper for when we are away for a while now...we have a golden puppy, a corgi puppy and our old lady a shitzu/bichon mix as well as 2 cats...she has always taken the absolute BEST care of them when we are away, she spends time with them, plays with them, sends pics and updates for us and will even do overnights if available. We never have to worry about our "zoo" when we are on vacation while Erica is around...she is the absolute best! Wouldn't have anyone else taking care of these guys :)

BEST PET SITTER EVER! Hello All. I just wanted to take a moment to share my recommendation to anyone who is looking for a Pet Sitter. I don't normally take the time to do these things but this woman went so far above and beyond for our 18 year old Cat, Socks that I swear, she may have just saved her life. Her name is Erica ("Go-To Pet Care" on Instagram) and she was not only a "cat-whisperer" to our Sweet Kitty who had serious abandonment issues after being nearly starved to death by our last pet-sitter. So, needless to say, our family was EXTREMELY concerned about having to leave our Cat for another week this year. After literally hours of research I kept coming back to Erica with her many reviews (including from 2 Families that I know personally) and seeing that she had even taken an Animal Care Course (which considering our Cat is on 5 different Medicines and Vitamins that need to be given in different ways at different times a day since last year's debacle, is an EXTREME PLUS), we decided to Contact Erica for a Meet-And-Greet. Thank goodnes we did because from the moment she arrived, between her instant connection with our Cat and the immediate ease that I sensed with her in our home and in her abilities, I knew we had found our Cat Savior! And not only did our cat do well throughout our vacation (proof of which was texted daily including sweet pictures and our own indoor Camera monitoring our Cat's Feeding Area (Of course with our blessing from Erica prior to us hiring her), she actually GAINED WEIGHT which we have been CONSTANTLY trying to do for our Cat with the help of our Vet since we Adopted her 7 years ago as a malnourished older and wary Cat. And that, along with the fact that our home pet feeding area and litterbox area were actually CLEANER than when we left them, the fact that she spent over a half hour playing with our Cat and giving her lots of love each and attention each visit and the fact that she reached out to us about a week later to make sure Socks was still doing well, is the reason that WE WILL ALWAYS REQUEST HER FOR ANY ADDITIONAL PET SITTING NEEDS THAT WE MAY HAVE! We would even request her to take care of our home if we were taking our pet with us, as I couldn't feel more comfortable knowing our home and anyone and everything in it will be in the best possible hands. I apologize for my Reference being so "wordy" but I am just so happy to have found Erica for our needs and I would love to know that maybe I could help others who may be looking for that "special someone" that they could trust for all of their Fur-Baby(ies) needs!

Janette is very trustworthy and my dog is always happy and cleaner when I pick him up! She brushes him, lets him sleep on her bed, and sends videos from their walks on the trail. She doesn’t take more than two dogs at a time so she can give them attention. I highly recommend leaving your dog in her care!

Ashley is a wonderfully attentive and professional dog boarder. The space she has for the dogs she cares for is AMAZING!! She genuinely cares and even shared videos and pics with us to alleviate our apprehension with having our Lexi go to a new place. I would highly recommend Ashley without hesitation.
Ashley is an absolute superstar. Our puppies love being with her. She treats them as if they were her own dogs. They are always cared for and any issue that may come up is always handled immediately. The puppies get picked up every week and get dropped off at the end of their stay. It’s beyond convenient, and super affordable. We could not ask for a better dog walker. Our dog Biscuit seems very at home when she stays at Dawn's Dog Boarding. We can see this through the photos shared and observing her being completely relaxed when she returns home. The setting is clean, provides plenty of exercise and good TLC. Dawn and her staff keep our dog safe by introducing her to the pack in small groups when she arrives and matching her with similar energy levels for her stay. We have many choices for dog boarding in our area and from experience we know that choosing Dawn's Dog Boarding is the best choice for our dog.
Our 5 year old dog has been staying with Dawn since he was a puppy - it is his home away from home! Dawn looks after all the pups as if they were her own, and they gets lots of love and attention, all while enjoying time and space in the beautiful Hudson Valley. We've brought our small dog to Dawn about 3 times now, for up to a week, and she's absolutely our go-to person for this. She tends to the dogs like they were her own children, I'd say. No cages here - just big open spaces and socializing.

I did not know about Dawn until a few days ago. I ran in to a big problem as I was staying with family as I had an emergency and my family loved my dog but the landlord says that dogs are not aloud do to insurance so my family was told my dog had to go or they had to go. My family helped me by asking everyone they knew if they could take my dog then I was looking for a dog boarding near me and I found Dawn. I called her and left a message and she called me back in a quick amount of time. I explained to her what was going on and because she was on her way out the door for the day to meet up with friends she could not take my dog that night. Dawn did let me bring my dog the next morning. I was late getting to her and she understood. My sweet Hazel got to be around other dogs and got a lot of exercise. I would recommend her to all. Dawn gave me some information that I did not know and she gave me very good information. I will be using her again when I need a spot for my sweet Hazel to go when she can not be with us her loving family. Thank You for all you do for my sweet Hazel and all the other dogs as well. I would give you more stars as I feel that 5 stars are not enough as you are way more then 5 stars.

Stephanie and Maggie are absolutely incredible. We have Coop, a 4 year old cat, and Jax, a 1 year old pitbull/boxer mix. We trust Stephanie and Maggie so much that they have a key to our apartment and drop in to watch Coop while we travel. Stephanie and Maggie pick Jax up for daycare a few times a week and he absolutely loves it. He has so much fun with his friends and he comes home exhausted which is wonderful for us :) They even drop him off and put him in his crate so we don't have to worry about it. I've recommended Stephanie and Maggie to many people. We are so, so thrilled with them and very thankful for their flexibility and love they have for our animals while we're gone! I highly recommend.
Willow, my border collie and I love Stephanie and Maggie! Not only is the price very affordable but it includes pick up and drop off! I was having a really hard time finding a place I could drop off early enough and this was the perfect solution. I completely trust them with the key to my apartment. Another huge plus is they post Instagram stories of pictures and videos of the dogs so you can check in on them throughout the day. Highly recommend Beacon Doggie Daycare!

Beacon Petsitting is the place we call when we’re headed out of town. They provide reliably great care for our pup, Carmen. They are excellent communicators and have been more than willing to accommodate our crazy travel schedules. Can’t recommend them enough.
We made three appointments with Stephanie to come and meet our cat before we went away. She didn't show up for any of them, and didn't call or text with an explanation as to why. Why would we use her services? She might forget the cat. We don't recommend her. Only gave a star cause they wouldn't let me post otherwise.
I feel so good about leaving my pup at Dog Meadow. They truly care and love each and every dog. My dog cannot wait to get out of the car so she can meet and play with all of her friends. It has been so good for her socialization also.

This is not a dog boarding facility...it is a dog RETREAT! I knew Kleber from several years ago when we would take our dogs to the same dog park. When he posted that they started Dog Meadow I was immediately excited about the prospect of having my dog stay with them when we travel. From the pictures on Instagram, it was clear that Kleber and Laura run a great place where dogs enjoy the best that the property can offer and are truly treated as guests. My dog is high energy and loves to run, but can be picky with other dogs and everything worked out well. We were traveling overseas and having our pup at Dog Meadow put our minds at ease. Plus we were able to see all the fun she was having on Instagram. Looking forward to having our pup stay at Dog Meadow again in the future! Edit: Here we are, 4 years later (at time of edit) and I've just picked our dog up from a 6 night stay. It's amazing to have a place where I can drop my dog off and not think twice. I went on vacation. So did our dog. The structure that Kleber has and the rules he's put in place is all focused on having a safe, healthy, fun, and loving place for our dogs to stay. I only want the best for our dog and this is the best!
When we travel, one of the most important things for us is that our dog Felix is taken care of. That's exactly why we've been using The Dog Meadow for daycare and boarding. The entire staff is so incredibly attentive to him, they make sure he always has a safe, fun experience while we are away. The crate-free environment really makes a difference as well! The best part about Dog Meadow is its huge, well maintained, almost TICK-FREE, outdoor free-play meadow. Felix can run around with all the other happy dogs all day long. He always starts whimpering excitedly when we turn up the road to the meadow - it's adorable! We've seen how much joy it brings him every time, and it's worth every penny. We can't recommend them enough! Dog Meadow of Millbrook is simply the best for your furry friends. If you care about your furry family member as much as we do I think you'll be happy with the experience. Whether it's daycare or boarding, trust us - your pup will thank you!
I boarded my 3 1/2 yr old German shepherd Lyla at Dog Meadow for 10 days. It was the first time she'd stayed anywhere other than with family. Kleber and Dog Meadow will be my go-to from now on. Our dog Musket has been a regular “guest” at Dog Meadow over the past two and a half years and we always know he will be well cared for by Kleber. Dog Meadow is a first class operation and provides a safe environment conducive to Musket’s well being. We drop Musket off knowing he is in competent and caring hands. Kleber is quite attuned to each dog and their needs and he always provides us with feedback on Musket’s stay. The field where the dogs play gives them ample opportunity for exercise and fresh air. In addition, Kleber is a gifted photographer and the pictures he posts on Instagram capture the dogs’ spirits. His monthly newsletter is always insightful and rounds out a truly professional approach to dog care.
We leave our dogs, Lady & Izzy, in the care of Dog Meadow when we're out of town. Both have gone since they were puppies. If it's any testament to how much we value Dog Meadow, we drive almost an hour and a half from the city to bring Lady and Izzy. We do this because we know they will always get the most attentive and high quality care. They have open space to run free with other dogs and get to sleep outside of a crate, which is great for our dogs who never took well to crates. Kleber is wonderful to work with! He goes above and beyond to put our dogs' health, safety, and fun first. Thank you for all that you do!
MY NAME IS RUTHIE!! My pawrents take me to this special pawffice because they love me very much. The hooman in charge there, his name is Kleber - he really gets me. He helps me to become the best hound dog I can be. I run! I bark! I pee and poop! I socialize! I train! I get pretty paw-traits taken by the pup-parazzi! I run more! Anything is paw-ssible at this magical shangri-paw. And when I come back home, I sleep and Mumma and Dadda are happy. Thanks to Dog Meadow, it's the leashed I can do.
We have boarded our Golden Retriever Kali at Dog Meadow twice this summer, and she has clearly had a blast. She was delighted to see Kleber when he returned to pick her up for her second visit, and jumped straight into his car. She has not done this at all with previous caretakers. Her playful puppy Jazzy is the most adorable thing you could ever see; making the experience that much better. I am not the type of person who would just leave my dog in the hands of a stranger, and Jess and Jazzy make me feel at ease leaving my fur baby in their care!
Jessica has been so great with our Gibson! He is a 7 month old energetic Lab/Great Dane mix. He loves spending his days with Jessica and gets a lot of one-on-one attention while we are at work. We are happy with our experience and would recommend Jessica to anyone looking for dog care!
Jessica took great care of my mini poodle for a long weekend. It was such a relief to find someone to watch our puppy that is close by, has other dog(s) around for socialization, and would give our girl the attention she needs.
