Wayne and Sadie were very welcoming in our one off meeting before they hit the road. A chilled out couple who never failed to respond to any questions we had while they were away. Kevin and Millie our dog companions were two completely diffrent personalities on our daily walks, with kevin prefering human contact over other dogs, while Millie was layed back and easy-going to whoever strolled by us. Thanks guys for the opportunity to petsit at your home. The village life was vibrant with many interesting sights that we will remember long after we have left the English shores. Janet especially loved the Christmas theme around this village and the open air markets in the centre of the town. Dave and Janet.
We had a great stay at Lorrie and Paul's lovely home in their guest suite on the lower level. They welcomed us warmly and served us a breakfast quiche. The guest suite is as well appointed as an Air BnB, with microwave, small refrigerator, kitchenware, sitting area with large screen TV, and Q bedroom with TV and walk-in closet. The infrared sauna was a bonus treat! We spent an equal amount of time upstairs with the girls, who were super friendly and minded well. Daily walks and frequent potty breaks kept us all happy. Little Pepper is in diapers and had a few easily cleaned up misses. Macy was content to stay on her bed. The neighborhood is near stores and restaurants, as well as an extensive outlet mall where we uncharacteristically spent two mornings. We highly recommend this sit.
What a wonderful experience all round! First of all, Sebastian and Lucinda were great hosts, making us feel comfortable and welcome right away. The dogs warmed up quickly and are a joy to be around. We loved being able to take them in the car on several trips to nearby lakes and walks. As mentioned before, they are reactive to other dogs but we have found that the easiest thing to do is to let them sit, stand in front and remain calm. When not out and about in the stunning surroundings, the chalet is so cosy and full of character. We loved spending mornings and evenings there, cooking, enjoying the views and of course lots of cuddle time with the girls. They are super well behaved and will only lie next to or on top of you if you give them the signal that it is ok, which we did most of the time and enjoyed it very much ;-) We miss them and their little personalities, they made us laugh a lot. 10/10 would highly recommend this site and would definitely visit again without hesitation. Thank you so much for everything!
