Abhaya did a wonderful job while she was with us. She is very attentive to details concerning both the house and the dogs. Our communication prior to arrival made for a smooth transition. She arrived a day early to enable us to review everything in person. She sent pictures while we are away. We have learned that one of our dogs is a bit more temperamental with walking. Abhaya adjusted to this; she went out and bought her a few tennis balls to play with in the backyard. Finally, our plans changed and we returned earlier than planned. Despite the disruption to her plans, Abhaya left the house spotless and dealt with everything very graciously. She is a delightful, kind person . I am happy to have met her.

Sharon is lovely and helpful! The dogs are the cutest little things and very well behaved! The house is really nice and cosy and it feels nice having your space as it is normally used as an air bnb. The garden is gorgeous and we had a lovely evening. The house has everything we needed and she even left some breakfast for the morning which was lovely! Thank you
We looked after Simone & Bram's two dogs and two cats. It was during the Covid19 pandemic so difficult socially. We were made very welcome when we arrived including the offer of a meal. The guest house we stayed in was very comfortable with great views of lake Geneva and the mountains and was well heated for winter. The surrounding area was great for taking the dogs for walks. Shepy & Lolita were lovely dogs and a pleasure to take for walks. The two cats, Lusette and Pluisje were very easy. They both have automatic feeders and just need their food topped up. Lusette was very friendly and liked to be with us. We did not see much of Pluisje though when we did he was friendly and enjoyed a pat. We can recommend this pet sit for a quiet time in the country side with beautiful views. Mike & Orla.
We had a super chilled time with Herbie and Daisy. The weather was hot, so we didn't have the opportunity for long walks but we explored the local spots, led by Daisy. Very sweet and cuddly dogs, no trouble at all. Liza and Katy very kindly left us some goodies, and we had everything we needed in their lovely house. Communication was excellent, wifi is good and garden is a sun trap :) Newhaven has great links to Brighton and Eastbourne, and the dogs are calm and content at home for a few hours, so this is a highly recommended sit.
I absolutely loved my time at the lodge. The location is amazing, very remote and a great and unusual opportunity for anybody who appreciates, or wants to understand the lifestyle. The lodge itself is lovely, very comfortable and beautifully refurbished. Kate’s communication was excellent from the beginning, I felt very well inducted and therefore comfortable taking care of the place. There were three spaniels when I visited, all of different ages and abilities, which made the role demanding at times but it was worth every minute. Dom, the keeper next door was always friendly, helpful and interesting. I would highly recommend this unusual sit, and I hope to return sometime in the future.
Sarah Lee was very generous, welcoming, and kind during our stay. Her two orange kitty boys are charming, full of spunk, and lots of fun. The security system and cameras in the house took some adjusting to. Overall, it was a pleasant experience! Thanks so much for having us.
