Cecily and Neil were just fantastic as housesitters. We had been communicating on line for a few months before The Sit but it was a real pleasure to meet them and have them live on our house. A delightful and charming couple. We had an instant rapport. Our cats were well looked after and we had regular updates. Our house was immaculate when we got home. We think that our cats Pickle and Toffee would rather we had never come home!!! We very much look forward to Cecily and Neil coming back sometime in the future to sit for us and have no hesitation in recommending them to others. Huge thank you to them both.
I had such a great sit with Abbey and Lily! They are the sweetest, and so little bitty! Sooo easy to take care of. Mostly they just want your love and attention. I loved watching tv with them in the recliner beside me at the end of the day. They slept through the night without making a peep. Lily slept on a blanket beside me and Abbey chose to sleep under the bed. They have a fenced in backyard and enjoy going out to explore. I enjoyed using the beautiful pool as well as relaxing on the spacious back patio. David and Kay’s home and yard are beautiful and they were amazing hosts. I arrived the night prior to them leaving and they made me feel right at home. I was able to ‘work from home’ doing online client sessions and had great connection. Lily and Abbey quietly napped beside me while I worked. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at David and Kay’s and would definitely come back in the future.
I really enjoyed house and cat sitting for Ian and Andy. Jodhpur is a very beautiful cat, who made me laugh on a daily basis. She took her time warming to me, but still followed me around the house "chatting" to me. Playing with her and grooming her helped me break the ice. Ian and Andy are lovely, very hospitable, welcoming and easy to talk to. I highly recommend this sit.
This was such a great petsit. Stephanie and Jacob were one of the most enjoyable couples I’ve ever pet-sat for. Both kind, laid-back, easy to get ahold of, and accommodating. Also, their kitties are sweethearts and enjoyable company. Perfect snuggle companions for my first non-work related experience in the Nashville area. One fur-baby requires a little extra support; their parents were so helpful and made sure I was well-equipped and comfortable. I felt welcome, supported and at ease throughout the whole sit. To sum up: I was sad to leave. I highly recommend this housesit!
What a lovely sit! Paisley and Gus are the easiest, friendliest and happiest pets you could possibly look after… Paisley is the most gorgeous of girls, who definitely wins our waggiest tail award 🥇. She is crazy about sticks and plays with them and her frisbee with infectious enthusiasm, is well behaved on walks with good recall if you have a stick or treats in your hand. She never wanders far from you. In the house she is quiet and cuddly, and loves a snuggle on the sofa. The perfect companion. Gus is a sweet and gentle cat, who spends most of his time on the sofa. He loves a bit of attention and purrs as soon as you get close to him. He does ask to be lifted up to his food sometimes (he’s quite capable of jumping up, but he’s a cat and loves getting ‘his people’ to work for him 😂) but he rewards you with a lovely head rub 🥰 for your efforts… Pam and Dave are very welcoming, friendly and hospitable hosts who kindly took us for a meal at their local pub the night before they left, and it was lovely to get to know them a little. Communication was great before and during the sit. Their house is very comfortable, with a lovely bright bedroom and kitchen diner, and cozy living room. It has everything you need for a pleasant stay. There are lots of lovely walks right from the house with some beautiful views, as well as in the surrounding countryside with the Severn Estuary and the Forest of Dean and the Wye Valley within easy reach by car. The village of Olveston has a shop with all the basics, a post office and there’s a bakery too. There is also a good choice of pubs nearby. It’s only a short drive in to Bristol or Chepstow if you want a bit more choice. Paisley and Gus filled us with joy every day! Thank you Pam and Dave for trusting us to look after them. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this sit, but rather hoping we’ll be able to do it again…
I very much enjoyed looking after the cat Mila in Bulle. Irene and Marco made me feel very welcome, prepared a meal and Irene took me on a tour in the apartment in the evening. It was a great sit in a clean and comfortable apartment with a parking spot for my car. Mila was a very talkative cat, but wouldn't let me touch her the first couple of days. She later put a little bit more faith in me, so I could stroke her a couple of times. I regret the sit was not longer to really convince her of my best intentions. I explored Bulle 2 times. On the one day that it would be slightly warmer and dry weather I took the direct train to Bern. The rest of this short sit for me, 10 days only, I very much enjoyed the time with Mila and the tv with a lot of channels!
We had a wonderful time at Lisa’s. Molly is the cutest dog, who loves to steal the couch 😀. The cats were super easy care also. Would stay there again if we were in the Central Coast, the views are spectacular.
