I cat-sat a gorgeous lap cat called Bootsy for Arabella over the Christmas break. I couldn't have asked for a better assignment. The apartment was just so lovely to stay in. Lovingly designed. - a real home. The London location was great too. Parks nearby to stroll or jog around, local convenience stores and a mainline train, and a tube station were all within walking distance. To be honest, I spent most of my time hanging out in the apartment because it was just such a gorgeous space for me to work from, and the cat was lovely company. Dealing with the host was very easy throughout. We met briefly on Zoom to confirm details before I arrived, and then resorted to WhatsApp during the stay so that I could communicate if needed. If you are looking for a London location, or just want somewhere to chill whilst having the company of a beautifully natured kitty cat in London, I can not recommend this pet sit enough. I had a wonderful experience staying there and I would definitely go back. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Thank you, Arabella.
We had a wonderful time at this sit. Emma and John are superb hosts and we couldn't have asked for any better. John very kindly met us from the airport and Emma had cooked us a lovely supper with produce from their allotment. They let us use the produce from the allotment which tasted wonderful. They also organised for friends to drive us to the nearest town to pick up our hire car which was very helpful as public transport was not very regular. The cats were a pleasure to look after and had very different personalites. Henry is the old gentleman who is in charge and would keep us company throughout the day and enjoyed being made a fuss of. . Shanti was more independent and would come and see us at various times during the day and enjoyed the occasional cuddle. It was a surprise to see who was on the end of the bed in the morning! We would be more than happy to sit again for Emma and John in the future. Would highly recommend this housesit.
This was a last minute local sit that we brought our dog to as our house was being renovated. Tupelo is gorgeous and friendly, the house is in a great location and has a lovely little hot tub which we greatlly enjoyed. Elizabeth hired a cleaner to come in at the beginning of our stay and went out of her way to try to make our stay more comfortable by ordering a remote control for the TV when the other didn't work well, and by being vety communicative and available for questions. She was great to work with and our stay was a great one!
I loved to sit Willow and Freddie, they were both lovely cats to be around with, each with their own character and never a dull moment! Lindsey and Steven were very welcoming hosts and we kept great communication all the time. Their home is lovely, tastefully decorated and it has everything for a most confortable stay. It was a great experience altogether. Highly recommended!
Paul and Cindy were very welcoming and left me everything I needed. Their instructions for caring for the house and dogs were accurate and clear and the experience was a pleasure. Cleo and Kalesi are well behaved, and know their routines very well. They are very wary of strangers, so we didn't have a lot of interaction, but that makes it more special when they do come to you. It's vital to be quiet and slow around them, and I soon learnt to go at their pace. I was lucky with the weather and had some relaxing time in the beautiful sunny garden with the dogs and a chance to enjoy walking in the local area and in the Forest of Bowland.
What an absolutely wonderful sit! Sydney was the perfect host! Friendly, communicative and helpful. The apartment is cute, clean, cozy and has everything you need for a happy sit. It’s in a cool part of Seattle called Ballard with a bus stop 2 blocks away that can get you anywhere you need to go in Seattle. Then there’s Violet. Violet has absolutely the cutest meows I’ve ever heard. Such a wonderful kittie. Violet loves to play, nap and keep an eye on the neighborhood. She’s so well behaved, not once jumping on counters or tables. Such impeccable manners lol! If I could give 100 stars I would!
