Christina and Andrew initiated a video call before we confirmed the sit and we were reassured by their “ can do” attitude. They had to handle a hand over from/to family members( we were out of the country) at both ends of their time at the house and followed through with both people promptly. Our house was well cared for and clean. Potted plants had been watered as requested and all details were followed perfectly. Buddy, our 10 month old 60 lb Labrador puppy, was pleased to see us but had been very well cared for. He is a big, enthusiastic puppy and Andrew reached out to us for advice about training walks, which are tricky without a consistent technique. They mastered our method quickly and walks became more enjoyable. ( confirmed by Andrew) Buddy thinks everything is a chew toy, that he is a lapdog, likes to join in to video calls and/ or park himself on your feet and every dog he meets on a walk is his new best friend. Needless to say Christina and Andrew were kept busy with their own work AND their puppy sitting. They were good natured about it all and we would be happy to have them house/ dog sit in the future.
