It was a pleasure to meet Ken who was very relaxed, capable and self-sufficient. He was obviously a seasoned house/cat sitter and so was able to put us at ease as this was our first time using zeewoi services. As he was coming from outside the UK he made sure he arrived in plenty of time in case of travel delays so it would not cause problems with out holiday plans. We had not been sure if people would use public transport to get to our village and house but Ken showed that it was easy both to get here and to travel to other places fairly easily during his stay. As we had the space we had invited him to stay the night before to meet the cats and see round the house. He joined us for a meal and Ian and he found they had similar tastes in music! He was very relaxed around the cats and let them come to him in their own time. During our holiday Ken sent texts every couple of days to let us know how things were going and that the cats had accepted him, Tia was letting him comb and pet her and Chloe was sitting on his lap. By prior agreement, and because we felt confident enough, Ken left the afternoon before we returned to attend an event. We returned to a spotless house, calm cats and milk in the fridge to make a cuppa! We would definitely recommend Ken to house/cat sit if you live in the UK/Europe. We would welcome him back if he was available to sit in future.

Maria is a find! She not only has knowledge and experience with cats, but she is a lovely individual. The night before I departed, we had a wonderfully engaging conversation. I returned to a home as I left it and she was kind enough to bring in my mail and newspaper daily without me requesting it. It was as if she were never here! I eagerly awaited her substantial daily reports about Brinkley and a generous number of pics and videos of him. Without a doubt, I would give her first right of refusal the next time I plan to be away. If you are lucky enough to welcome her as a sitter, you will be more than satisfied and reassured that your pet is in good hands and receiving lots of love and attention.
