Ali, Lydia, and friends were excellent pet sitters. They took Finn walking and hiking multiple times a day. The cuddled with Sammy, our cat, and sent updates and photos every day. We came home to happy animals, an immaculate home with a bouquet of flowers, a card, and treats. We highly them recommend them as pet sitters.
Tom and Margaret are such hospitable and kind hosts. They left my teen girls and I a large, comfortable, clean, upgraded and gorgeous home with many amenities including a large garden which the dogs visited often. The house is situated in the center of a small town with a yummy cafe with super friendly staff across the street they used to own. They generously gave us a voucher we could use and we enjoyed a lovely breakfast and popped in on other days for perfect lattes and sweets. There are nice walking areas, a big park, a couple small grocery stores and a butcher in the town. We decided to rent a car and drive from our last pet sit in Manchester and spent four days in the Lake district prior to our sit at Tom and Margaret's in the Scottish borders. Then after our sit, we drove to Edinburgh. So we experienced gorgeous scenery along the drive. Best of all was Jack and Ollie. The cutest spaniels and quite well-behaved. We enjoyed their cheery disposition, they were easy to care for and nice to cuddle with. Just follow Tom's instructions for their care and all should go well. Highly recommend this sit if you want a relaxing time to spend in a charming small town, or get some work done online.
Cara was very friendly and communicative with us. SHe left us a very clear guide with all the instructions. Mako and Sanoe are very shy but beautiful, we couldn’t interact much because they like to play outside a lot, but i can tell that they are very tender and guardians. The house has a wonderful view, we were very comfortable, it is a very peaceful place. Thank you very much Cara for letting us know this beautiful place and taking care of Mako and Sanoe
I loved this pet sit! Deb provided everything needed for a comfortable stay. She communicated well and was responsive. Toby was a wonderful canine companion. Upon first meeting Toby he can seem a bit aggressive. So I recommend that you meet him with Deb before the actual pet sit. But, once he has met you he turns into a totally adorable, polite and responsive dog. He is well behaved, listens and loves to go for walks around the neighborhood (which is lovely, by the way) and chase the ball at the park. He also brings you toys when he thinks it is time for you to take a break from whatever you are doing. And will cuddle up next to the fire for warmth or next to you on the sofa. He is a super sweet dog and I would love to stay with him again.

Gibby is such a sweetie. He doesn't like to go far for his walk but knows exactly where he wants to go, towards treats in the neighborhood lol. Denise was great at keeping in touch and we managed to meet prior to the sit and found them very easy going and chilled. The apartment is in the heart of Hermosa Beach a few blocks away, 5 mins walk to the beach, so great location.
I feel very fortunate to have met Mark, Sonja and Joel! At the core of this house-and-pet-sit, is a truly wonderful family. I had such a lovely time, hanging out with Beans, who is a delightful cat, with a beautiful temperament. Thank you Mark and Sonja for a wonderful sit, and for being such lovely hosts!
