Where to start… Leslie and Jon were amazing pet sitters, from before the sit to coming home after vacation! They are very kind people who truly put your pets’ needs above all, and are great at listening to and following instruction from the start, always asking thoughtful questions along the way. They are local to me, so they kindly agreed to come meet Tilly before the sit, and again once more a week before the sit began so I could take them on a quick walk with Tilly, and also go over some things for a more comfortable stay. From the moment we met, they were so friendly and easy to talk to, and my mind was at ease having them watch Tilly and care for our house. Tilly seemed comfortable with them immediately! They got Tilly out on her walks each day, fed her as instructed (even bought her more chicken), and gave her TONS of love! They also sent pics each day (as requested), and gave me an update on how she was doing, and weather issues (hot temps and hail). There were belly rubs, gentle massage, and kisses - they really connected with Tilly, and were clearly sad to leave her. Upon arriving home, the house was perfectly cleaned up and looked as I had left it. They even washed/dryed their linens, and Jon so thoughtfully mowed our backyard. Although we did not request those things, It was nice to come home to a house that was clean and tidy, and it was appreciated. If I could give more than 5 stars I would! They are responsible, reliable, honest, clean and respectful of your home, love animals, and just have a heart of gold. You are in good hands with Leslie and Jon, and I’m so very grateful we connected through zeewoi (our 2nd successful sit). They epitomize what zeewoi is all about, and you would be lucky to have them pet sit for you. I welcome them back anytime, and really do hope to keep in touch and see them again in the future!
Sheri was a fantastic pet and house sitter. My pets fell in love with her and it’s clear Sheri took great care of the animals. My house was spotless after she left. Sheri even made a pot of home made soup for my return! I had the pleasure of meeting her in person when I got home and we had wonderful conversations. Sheri is courteous, thoughtful, and as self-sufficient as they come. I wouldn’t hesitate to have her back here again!
