Gatsby's a great cat! He's friendly and loves being brushed. Jake and Dee's flat is comfortable, warm, and just a few minutes walk away from Sainsbury's Local and a couple of great coffee shops. Communication was excellent and their information pack is the best!
It was a pleasure sitting for Lucia & Nick they made us feel welcome from the start. Thier 3 dogs are great company and very easy to look after as thier are walks right on the doorstep. Moby has the most soulful eyes, Pip is his son and he is a sweet baby who loves his cuddles and being close to you, if he gets out of line his dad will tell him off as he has boundless energy , Oscar is a great little character with a cute squeaky little bark. They all get on and get very excited for walks. The farmhouse is beautiful and the pool is an added bonus. We were lucky enough to have great weather too. You won't be disappointed with this sit & the dogs will steal your heart.
Carlye and Alfred were great hosts; they left detailed instructions for home and kitties and lots of reference material for places of interest in Portland and beyond. Their furry critters are special indoor cats, as they have their own screened in outdoor areas so they can enjoy time outside. I loved the contrast between indolent Rocky and hyperactive LuLu--one waiting patiently to wolf down his next meal and the other occasionally running through the house like a whippet, yet when it came to getting cuddles and snuggling with a human, their affections were equally matched. This is a comfortable house in a convenient part of Portland, with easy access to public transport, freeways and cycling routes. I’d love to return if I have the chance.
