This was one of the easiest and most relaxing sits I've done. The pets were easy to care for and perfectly contented. Jayne was a great hostess. She had thorough written instructions so I never had to do any guess work. Would sit again.
From the beginning Kristina was a wonderful host. She went out of her way to meet us beforehand and made sure we felt comfortable. Her home is lovely! From the view to the hot tub to the fireplace, it couldn’t have been more perfect. It’s also a short drive to the slopes and we even got to ski. And Buddy! We just love him. He’s such a smart, sweet, happy-go-lucky dog. He’s well behaved and easy going, up to play with his toys or nap on the couch. His favourite thing by far is to play at the nearby dog park, where he’s happy to run off leash and be silly with his dog friends. If you’re lucky enough to get the opportunity to sit for Kristina don’t pass it up! This really is a special one.
Jonathan and Sandrine have a very comfortable clean and stylish flat in a quiet street with good access to bus routes and green spaces. We were warmly welcomed by Jonathan and communication was very good before, during and after the sit. The cats Elsie and Ralph are adorable and have very different personalities. Ralph will be your friend instantly. He loves attention and to play games with toys, and will run to greet you when you come out of your bedroom in the morning! Elsie is a beautiful girl who is quieter but also playful (when Ralph doesn't take over). She does miss her owners when they leave, but settles down and becomes more sociable after a little while. This was our first experience of caring for Siberian cats and they are now firmly on our list of favourite cat breeds, We would be very happy to return and care for Elsie and Ralph again.
Holly and Fergal were very kind and helpful people. Mouse is absolutely gorgeous and is one of the most unique cats I've sat for. Really enjoyed spending time with her. Thank you Holly and Fergal!
What a beautiful long weekened in Oundle. That you so much Liz for hosting me in your beautiful house. I had a great time with Elsa and Tao. Elsa is just adorable, loves long walks and getting her paws wet. I almost convinced her to swim with me but she thought it was better if someone stay and keep guard! Tao is really independent but is happy to be showered with love and attention when comes in for a cuddle. Liz is just an amazing person, at first sight you just feel like you've known her for years and can't help but come in for a big hug. She was so kind and accommodating, picked me up and dropped me off at the train station and we went to the pub for a bite and she showed me the river walk (not to be missed). Thank you again for everything.
A wonderful experience! I was warmly welcomed by Max's friend, Tingting and her family, and they generously left lots of food for me to use during my stay. The house is located at a location so great that the rooftop has a 270 degree view of the Erhai and the Cangshan. The interior is modern and clean, also with a great view through huge windows. The landlord and his family living in the house of the front yard were so kind that they also invited me to have dinner. Although I never got the chance to get close with Fishy the cat, it was still enjoyable to look at her beautiful eyes from a distance. She was super easy to take care of. I highly highly recommend this housesitting opportunity!
