First and foremost, I would like to thank Katherine and Mark for their kind hospitality. Both were incredibly friendly and welcoming and made us feel at home right away. Scarlett and Madison are two beautiful, smart and obedient Golden Retrievers and we truly enjoyed taking care of them. The sisters; Scarlett and Madison were very loving and certainly enjoyed being loved.... and loved to walk and play fetch. The house is spacious, beautifully furnished and the guest room where we stayed was large and supremely comfortable and had it's own private bathroom. The mattress, bedding and pillows were heavenly and provided us with good nights sleep. I highly recommend this house-sit with Katherine & Mark and will definitely return if the opportunity knocks again.
We loved our sit at Nicola's. Angel and Toby were the sweetest dogs. They curled up next to us on the sofa, and loved the extra attention we gave them throughout the day. Tom was very easy and would come in to eat when he was hungry and hurry back outside. Nicola's home is warm and inviting. The beds are comfortable, and we loved that it was within walking distance to Dartmouth which is absolutely beautiful. Thanks for having us, Nicola. We really enjoyed our stay and time with your pets!
Louis was great to watch. Kathleen gave us all the information we needed to know about Louis’ needs and habits so there were no surprises. Great area to stay in Chicago and we’d definitely watch Louis again.
Kristi + Harry were the easiest hosts to communicate with! From the get go Harry was very communicative, quick to respond with videos, the welcome guide, + voice messages on where to go/what to do for the pets to make the stay easy so I felt very prepared! It made things so easy! Throughout the sit they were also very accommodating too, kind, flexible + appreciated all the pictures! They left very well communicated directions on everything + then some. Samson (the Newfie), Spike + Lucky + I all bonded! The kitties slept on my clothes + Samson + I became the best of friends by the end of the sit. I miss them all already! I also had the pleasure of meeting them + they are the loveliest of people. I can’t wait to sit for them again + get to know them better. Exceptional sit + hosts!
I had the pleasure of sitting for Holly, taking care of Fabio in lovely Leighton Buzzard. It turned out to be a faultless sit . Holly’s a model host- making sure her home is clean and sitter ready on all aspects. . I appreciated the extra mile and was pleasantly surprised by the generous welcome card and gifts. I met up with Holly’s sister Laurel on arrival for the key and handover. Fabio stood in for Holly to give me such a warm resounding welcome. Holly was a joy from start to finish and very easy to get to know - friendly, easygoing, flexible, always thoughtful and very welcoming. We worked well together throughout the sit. On top of Holly’s concise welcome guide, we texted and whatsapp in the lead up to fill in what I needed to know . I felt both comfortable and completely at ease throughout. The in person handover on arrival with Laurel was straightforward and seamless. Communication was a breeze and always prompt. The sitter’s bedroom is spacious, very quiet and comfortable - as is the lovely house with plenty of space to work or lounge in. Sitters will love the easy access to their high street… supermarkets , cafes, eateries are a walking distance or bus & car drive away. You will have everything you need which is always much appreciated by sitters. You couldn’t ask for a better accessible location. It’s walking distance to everything- train station, lovely must do Grand Union towpath walk, Linslade forest walk, all conveniently located near the house. Other nearby boroughs Milton Keynes, Cambridge are not too far to drive as well. There is plenty to do and explore. I did Holly’s sit without a car but a car would enhance your sit if you want to explore further than the immediate neighbourhood. Icing on the cake for me is darling Fabio and the brilliant location. Fabs lives up to his name and is an absolute joy to sit, incredibly lovable, affectionate and very loving. He captured my heart from the moment we met and without exaggeration is massively cuddly. Lots of bonding, pampering, play time and full on conversations . Truly such a joy and a breeze to care for and tons of fun. He is intelligent, engaged and a character- impossible not to love. Just so affectionate, playful & all round great company. By day two he was wanting lots of lap time and belly rubs, cuddling & snuggling with me on the couch, often being a great hot water bottle which was great when the weather turned cold. In closing, massive thanks Holly for picking and trusting me with darling Fabs and your home. I hope the 3 of you will have me back at another time. … hopefully for longer :) I miss my full on conversations and eskimo nose to nose kisses from Fabs more than you’d ever know. He’s such an endearing special kitty. I recommend this sit wholeheartedly. 10 stars for Fabs and 10 thumbs up for Holly.. You will enjoy this friendly ,thoughtful homeowner and her lovely home and neighbourhood. Above all the absolute joy of sitting Fabs. . Enjoy as much as I did.
Emer was a fantastic host. She had a welcome pack with all the information you could need about the house and the dogs. Her house is amazing and in a great location. We had a fantastic weekend and Emer made us very comfortable from the start.
