Lori and Heather are great. When we talked on Zoom, it was very easy to decide they are the ones we could trust our puppy, Tessa. They came on time and kept in touch with us during our trip. They sent us Tessa's pictures and let us know how she was doing. When we are back, Tessa was totally healthy and content and house was clean. I would definitely ask them again if there is an opportunity, and we totally recommend them to you.
We could not recommend this stay enough!! Fiona, Al & Teddy made us feel so relaxed and welcome in their beautiful home. Our week stay felt like the perfect reset in the charming village of Ilmington full of beautiful countryside walks and two cosy quaint pubs right on the doorstep. Fiona and Al were so helpful in showing us around when we first arrived, the home itself is absolutely amazing and the renovated property with beautiful interiors really made us feel like we were on a luxury stay away. Teddy has stolen my heart and I actually felt a bit upset when our sit had ended as he was such a character :L Very easy to manage and although not the most excited to go on a walk he warms up to it very quickly. I genuinely miss the sound of him coming down the hallway to greet us in the morning. We would go back in a heart beat ! Thank you both so much for a lovely trip, Elaine & Will :)
I had a super chilled week looking after Silk in Penny's and Ian's house with its absolutely massive nature filled back garden Silk is a very sweet and affectionate granddaddy cat who loves to meow demandingly and to spend time with you. Ian and Penny were very warm and accommodating hosts who made me feel instantly at home in their home. The house has everything you need for a comfortable and convenient stay. It's just up the road from Fishponds' high street so you're never too far from shops, restaurants, bars, bus services, cycle routes and TIER scooters and bicycles. The Bristol to Bath cycle path is also located close by which makes travelling further into Bristol or further afield super simple. Overall, a really enjoyable sit with a lovely moggie. Can't wait to go back in a few weeks.
Alison's sit could not have been better. Beautiful home, great location, excellent communication, and incredible animals. Daisy is such a cutie and is a joy to be around. June mostly stayed to herself, and Cash did at first, but by the last two days of our sit, he started sleeping with us and doing more snuggling. Alison has incredible style. We took many notes on how to decorate a home in a modern and stylish way. Thank you, Alison, for a great experience.

An excellent day care and boarding provider!! Frank and Debbie at Amigo Pet services over a professional, knowledgable and friendly service where nothing has ever been too much trouble! From first meeting Frank and Debbie we instantly knew our dog would be looked after with care and love! The pictures they post show our dog having a brilliant time on her walks with her 4 legged friends and as soon as she comes home she certainly wants her bed. The pick up and drop of service they offer makes it completely hassle free and knowing she is able to go somewhere familiar if we have to board her is a real bonus. Frank puts you and your dog at ease and gives you the confidence to trust somebody else with the care of something that is so precious to you. Frank has a wealth of experience and as a new owner I found his insight informative and very reassuring.
Frank and his team are so reliable and friendly. Trust him implicitly with our little pooch. He turns up reliably and looks after our dog very well. Great communication and a friendly smile. We would be unable to own a dog without franks help as a full time working house. It’s great to be able to have a holiday knowing that our dog is in a home from home well looked after.
I have used Amigo on and off for the last 7/8 years. I find Frank and the gang very easy to deal with & Maggie (the dog) loves her days out! Before the first time we used Amigo, Frank called up to discuss Maggie's requirements, behaviour etc. I found this very proffesional & personable. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Highly recommended.
The Amigo team have been wonderful in helping me with some lunchtime walks for Archer while I was at work. They were very professional, he clearly had a super time (the Instagram photos are worth looking at), he was out for 2-3 hours at a time and it was great for his socialisation. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend these guys to anyone, definitely worth the money.
Not for me and my best friend. My dog wears a GPS tracker and I was able to see exactly what he was up to all day, where he was and whether he was moving. He was there for daycare 9.15-17.00, and apart from 90 minutes he spent the entire time in the van- about 6 hours!! on the hottest day of the year so far. He did go on 2 walks (40 minutes and 50 minutes) but other than that it was travelling in a van. It made me really glad I have an activity tracker on him because otherwise as an owner you would never know. I really liked Frank, but I think we had very different ideas about whether this was OK or not. I learnt a lot- and in future when organising daycare I would specifically ask how long I can expect my dog to be travelling each day.
We can’t recommend Frank and his Amigos enough! Our little dog thoroughly enjoys her visits for day care and gets plenty of exercise too. We know she couldn’t be in safer hands or or be looked after by kinder people.

At short notice Kirstie was able to look after our two cats for one week. Dealing with Kirstie has been a pleasure. She is quick to respond to emails, sent daily updates / pictures of our cats while we were away and made an effort to get to know them. From my experience she is reliable and can trusted unlike my previous cat sitter. We will be definitely using her service again.
Kirstie walked our dog Hendrix for 2 years since he was a puppy. Starting off with house visits and moving on to walks when he was ready. She's always been reliable, on time, flexible, trustworthy and always brought him home tired. Perfect! We would definitely recommend her to anybody needing a dog walker!
We are so glad we have Kirstie to look after our cat Hamish while we are away, she takes great care of him and gives him lots of fuss. She is also great at looking after other things around the house while we're away like watering plants and putting bins out etc. We wouldn't want to be without her!
We have a cat called Sooty and live in Exeter and Kirstie has looked after Sooty while we've been away for overnight stays. Kirstie has all the qualities you'd want from a pet sitter, she is reliable, professional, trustworthy and it is clear that she is an animal lover and will care for your pet(s) as well as you would yourself. The service provided is great in terms of communication and convenience and it's so nice to get photos of your pet while you're out so you know they're happy. Kirstie will also help out with watering house plants, opening/closing curtains etc. So also offers peace of mind that your house does not look empty while you are away. Overall we would not look anywhere else for a pet sitter in Exeter. Fully recommend.
Kirstie is a wonderful person and a natural with animals. We have a sensitive greyhound called Dolly who has quite special needs - Kirstie is one of the few people we trust to look after Dolly and we feel relaxed and reassured when they are on walks or when we are away and leave Dolly with Kirstie. Dolly loves Kirstie and her family so much because she is treated so well and very much feels like she is part of their lovely family :-) I can't recommend Kirstie highly enough!

Such a caring and helpful business. Our dog is a rescue and can be a little nervous but he loves going to Just Purrfect. We started using them when we moved to the area and needed dog boarding while we moved. He now goes there for daycare and grooming. He is always very relaxed when we collect him and goes straight back into his usual routine. Every single member of staff that we have meet there have been incredibly friendly and reassuring. I’m so glad we found them!
The team at Just Purr-fect have been amazing with our 2½ year old rescue girl and take care to match dogs who will play well with each other and complement each others energy levels. She always comes back happy and clearly having had a great time. The team are also great at responding to any questions promptly.

Mel has been amazing with my two boys for the past three years. I highly recommend her, nothing is ever too much trouble and she treats them like her own, there is very few people that I would let look after them but she is amazing! My two love going out with Mel and she is very trustworthy, honestly and one of the most caring ladies I’ve met.
Mel and her team are absolutely amazing, Luna suffers with separation anxiety when away from the family - BUT when Mel arrives its a different story, she is so excited to be going out for a fun trip with Mel (& Bella) that she doesn't even look back!!! I met Mel before I knew she was a dog walker and I already thought she was a lovely person and truly loves dogs. When I realised she was a dog walker I almost begged her to try with my dogs as they are both big, and I know some people struggle with them. She didn't care about their size or their past (they are both rescues), she took them for a walk to try. Mel sent me photos all the time to let me know how they were going as she knew I was a bit stressed. She let me know my babies were behaving good and made me the proudest owner! Finally I found someone who doesn't care about the looks but about their behaviour. Totally recommend Mel!
Mel is amazing with my Lorenzo and Ben, The boys love her and always look forward to walks with her. She’s very reliable and trustworthy and I wouldn’t trust the boys to go with anyone else apart from Mel. She always updates me and sends photos when I’m at work which I love. We've used various people to look after our fur babies over the years and none have come close the gaining the trust we have in Mel. She truly cares for the dogs and ensures their individual needs are met every time, rain or shine. Couldn't recommend more.
Both Mel and Paula are brilliant, highly recommended, both of my dogs have issues but both Mel and Paula are patient and calm with them, both of my dogs love them. Kept fully updated with pictures whilst on their walk as well.

Took great care of our precious dog Freddie and our house for two weeks and we had great communication from start to finish with Running Duck which put us at ease. We were kept up to date with photos and updates which was so lovely. He especially loved his walks and playtime with Glenn, and we could see they had really bonded. They really do look after your pet and home as their own. The house was kept safe, clean and garden watered too which was so appreciated. Having both retired, we planned a once in a lifetime 6 week trip to Australia, but were very anxious about leaving our pets, particularly our dear dog Barley. Jenny juggled schedules in order to fit around our dates, so that Glenn and Mandy were able to cover the whole of the time. They took excellent care of our home, our cat Chip's, and our precious boy, communicating with us regularly via WhatsApp, attaching pics and videos to reassure us.
Glenn & Mandy were excellent pet sitters. They visited us before our trip to meet us and our two spaniels. While we were away they kept in touch with photos & videos. We returned to two happy dogs who had been very well looked after. We have booked Glenn & Mandy again for next year and Jenny for our autumn trip. Highly recommended.
Instantly took to everyone concerned at the Running Duck Pet Services. Jenny is incredible at communicating and arranging cover, and Glenn and Mandy are fabulous with all our pets. We see the delight when they arrive on our Pugs faces, and it's non stop love, care, attention and frolics from the minute they arrive. We are kept up to date with pictures and communication daily whilst we are away. The Running Ducks are our absolute favourites, and they are now part of the family. All of them are such lovely genuine people. Highly recommend, although don't book them up too much please, as we need them free to cover our pets!!!
We would highly recommend Glen and Mandy. Our English Foxhound is a rescue and can get worried when new people first come to the house, so we were a little apprehensive at someone coming to stay. Glen and Mandy kindly came over one morning before the holiday and in no time Buddy was wagging his tail and Glen was his new best friend. From then on, we felt confident that Buddy would be very happy with them and we were right. Just back from holiday and Buddy has had a great week, with lovely walks, games and being spoilt and is his happy, relaxed self. Thank you for understanding our boy.
Glenn and Mandy looked after our 2 dogs and cat for 10 days. One of our dogs takes medication twice daily so it was important to us to feel comfortable with the people looking after them. Straight away Glenn put us at ease, he discussed everything we would need and reminded us of things we had not even considered, ie informing vets etc. We got daily updates from Mandy, enough to ensure our minds were at ease but timed perfectly so as not to bombard us during our time away. Our plants are in better condition than when we left due to Glenn's green fingers. Cannot recommend them enough, and have already booked next year's holiday!
We recently nipped off for some sun, leaving our two Lardy Labs in the very capable hands of Running Duck. This is our second trip since moving to Wiltshire and because Glenn was already booked, George came up from Dartmoor to attend to their every need 😆 We got regular photos of their hikes and chill out sessions, but we never worry about them when away as we know how much love and attention they are showered with. The house is always clean and tidy on our return, which is an added bonus. We would not hesitate to recommend Running Duck for not only your Fur Babies, but your home too.
This was the first time we had left our 2 year old lab overnight and we were apprehensive, mainly due to her suffering occasional seizures and needing daily meds, but from the start Jenny was great, she put our minds at ease. Communication was clear and responses speedy. Skye warmed to Glenn quickly and we have felt confident in booking a holiday for next year, so thank-you Running duck services, we would highly recommend Glenn & Mandy :)

Best kennels. Great facilities and lovely staff. My dog is a handful and 80lbs and this was all taken in stride.
We unfortunately no longer have a pet but only for financial reasons. A friend asked if we could recommend a kennels and we immediately thought of Animal Paradise who we used for 15 years or more. Our dog always got excited when we drove up the lane to the property because he enjoyed the care they gave him. It was our dogs second home and was always treated with love from start to finish. I can not speak highly enough of the lovely place and the lovely people at this home from home for our pets.
We’ve used Animal Paradise for our boy Vinnie for four years now. He is always delighted to see the people at kennels during drop off so we know he’s treated very well! Very happy with the service and would recommend to others. It is reassuring to know Vinnie is in good hands when we’re away.

I highly recommend Animal Paradise. I have had bad experiences with kennels before and am very hesitant, especially with our new, VERY nervous rescue puppy. He came back more relaxed and confident then he has ever been. The care was 10/10, the prices are amazingly competitive, the setting is so tranquil for them, and we are so pleased we have rebooked for later in the year. My dogs were very well cared for. I have one nervous dog and we got him home, you would have thought he had been on a week long spa break, he was extremely relaxed. Very helpful and friendly staff. She used to be quite nervous around other dogs and new people, but the friendly staff have done an amazing job helping bring her out of her shell. Louis absolutely loves his days at home for hounds. He jumps out of the car and runs through the door to meet all his doggy and human friends and we know he has a great day by the photos that the team take. We know that he is well loved and looked after as we often find him in the lap of someone having a cuddle when we come to pick him up. Knowing that he is so well looked after whilst we go to work puts our minds at ease. We wouldn’t want to send our Winston anywhere else! He absolutely loves going to Home for Hounds, always goes in with a waggy bum excited to see the amazing staff. He’s been going since he was around 5 months old, he’s now 2. It’s so lovely to see uploaded photos as to where he’s been on his walks and see him playing with his friends. We have the drop off service which is fab and so helpful when we’ve been working all day. We always find Winston snoozing happily in the kitchen, listening to his favourite radio shows! 5 star service, thanks so much guys! :)
The team at Homes for Hounds are lovely - genuine dog-lovers. Our dog pulls at the lead to get in there when we drop him off to see them and his fellow, furry, friends and is exhausted after a great day of walks, cuddles and fun when we pick him up at the end of the day.
Very disappointed with the couple of girls I passed today in Bellever Forest from Homes for Hounds. They had 10 or more dogs between them, all off lead, except 1, and were worrying a group of 4 ponies, chasing them around and barking at them. This is one firm I would not recommend or use for sure.

I want to thank home for hounds for everything they’ve done for Ozzy. It breaks my heart that we are moving away and Oz cannot go anymore. The difference we’ve seen in him since he’s been going is amazing, he is now great off his lead and much better around other dogs while on walks.. no more running off to jump on anyone he can see. Not only has home for hounds helped Ozzy but back in December I was due to give birth. Since having no family down in Devon to take care of Ozzy the girls couldn’t help enough. They opened up early for him and happily looked after him at short notice. I received pictures throughout the day which made me feel a lot more comfortable. I am truly saddened that Ozzy cannot go anymore but without a doubt I would recommend home for hounds to anyone who wants their babies (dogs) to be in safe hands.
My dog, Dougal, literally squeals with excitement when he arrives at Home for Hounds! I have absolute confidence in their ability to look after the dogs in their care and the dogs get lots of lovely exercise in a range of places. Dougal first went when he was only 14 weeks old and Kathy and her team were really great about adapting to his needs as a little puppy. Kathy has also been great at adapting to my slightly awkward working hours! I have nothing negative to say! Would recommend them wholeheartedly.
My cockapoo Molly has been going to Home for Hounds since she was 16 weeks old. She is my first dog and the advice Kathy and her team have given me has been invaluable. They go to a variety of places each day, beach, woods or the moor where they get an amazing run out with other lovely dogs. Molly comes back tired and content. Superb doggy day care. I can't recommend them highly enough.
So happy with our experience of using Sunny Pet Sitting! Claire looked after our indoor cats & rabbit while we were away & we received daily messages & pictures to let us know they were doing well. Normally our cats are a little stressed when we go away & it takes a while for them to settle back in to a routine once we return, but when Claire looked after them this didn't happen at all! They were very happy & seemed super chilled when we arrived home. We will definitely continue to use Sunny Pet Sitting when we go away & would recommend.
Claire looked after our tortoise, Guinea pigs, hamster and fish while we were on holiday. We couldn’t have been happier with the service she provided, including feeding them daily and cleaning out mid-week. Claire has been walking our girl for 8 months and has always been extremely reliable. She manages our dog really well, and as a 3 year old husky who cannot come off her lead due to poor recall this is not always easy. Claire is so passionate about what she does and our dog absolutely loves her walks. We get fantastic updates at work and we love seeing her having fun. Claire is extremely professional and provides an exemplary service. We absolutely cannot recommend Claire enough!

Highly recommend! Lizzie was great at communication and sending me photos of my four cats while I was away. She even administered medicine to one of my cats with no issues! Very reliable and trustworthy!
Thank you Lizzie. I was worried about leaving my Ragdolls because they need medication three times a day in their food…and they’re picky eaters 🤦🏻♀️ Lizzie was amazing! She was lovely with the boys, fed them easily, updated me with photos and texts and left the house clean and tidy to come home to. I’ll definitely use her again and again 😻😻
Claire and Lizzie from Sunny Pet Sitting were very professional from the outset but equally what comes across is they are both warm caring individual's. So we were very happy to use their services to pet sit our 5 month old JRT puppy for 4+ hours whilst we attended a family funeral. It made what was already a stressful time all that much easier knowing that our pup was in good hands whilst we paid our respects. Our puppy was well cared for and looked very contented in their company. (Although initially excited on first meeting them as puppy's tend to be!). Happy to recommend Sunny Pet Sitting services.

I have to say - the first time we used Exeter Pet Sitters was amazing, couldn't have been happier. Unfortunately on coming to use them a second time we had the opposite experience. I called and left messages multiple times on both numbers, none were ever returned. Email communication was better but still not reliable. Each time I was told something would happen it didn't, asking how to flag the medical needs of my cat was met with no response, looking for reassurance that those needs would be met also got no response. The whole experience was needlessly stressful - had anyone said it wouldn't be possible to meet my needs from the start I would have had no problem. As it was I chased and chased for weeks and got nowhere. In the end I gave up trying to arrange for Exeter Pet Sitters to look after my animals and went with a different company - which is just as well because even the day before they were supposed to start caring for my pets, Jo and the team still hadn't responded to me. A couple of years ago I would have recommended these guys but now? I cannot in good faith say that they're the best option.
Overall a fantastic experience so far! We had a tricky situation arrise with our puppy needing to receive puppy visits throughout the day at short notice due to my partner and I needing to be back to work sooner than we had thought. Jo was quick to solve the problem and gave us a solution that fitted perfectly with our schedule. Highly recommended *****
Have used this service for several years and rate them highly because they have always been good at accommodating our needs, caring well for our pet keeping things clean. They also go the extra mile to look after plants/bins etc while you are away.

Exeter Dog Walkers have always been super. Our dog loves the walks and always comes back so tired and happy! Easy booking system, but also really flexible and accommodating too. I feel that they really care about our dog and he feels genuinely looked after. Would definitely recommend to anyone.
Exeter dog walkers have been visiting our greyhound during the day whilst we are at work for the best part of a year. He gets cuddles and the chance to go a for a wee whilst we get the reassurance that his is safe. Exeter dog walkers are consistent and reliable and very easy to contact, the are highly recommended.
We love using Exeter Dog Walkers - they're a huge reason why we're able to have a dog and work full time. We used them when we needed puppy visits while our dog was younger, and now she's old enough, Exeter Dog Walkers take her out on walks with other puppies, which has helped her socialise with other dogs. Couldn't recommend them enough - our puppy is always happy after a visit.

Have received nothing but an excellent service from Exeter Dog Walkers! They got our Gsd puppy Bear on to regular puppy visits at very short notice. Jo came up to meet him and talk with us the same day I phoned and enquired about it all :) We both work difficult hours so this works perfectly with our schedule. Not only do we have the worry taken away knowing bear is in good hands on lovely walks, he is also socialising in the best way possible with all the other dogs. Great dog walking service - I use for my puppy and I get photos and videos of the walk, they offer yo reinforce any training you're doing, and generally seem to love the dogs as much as I do! Highly recommended!

They have looked after Ruby since she was a small puppy, without them i would be stuck, helped to socialize her into the rounded dog she is today. Quite simply very accommodating and helpful the best.
Stephen was great to meet and see how he handled the dogs he was walking.. They clearly loved being with him.
