We had a fantastic time with Poppy! She was such a love bug and we enjoyed getting to hang out and tickle her tummy, as well as walk around the fantastic neighborhood. Mike and Sabine were more welcoming than I could have hoped. From my arrival to their departure they ensured that I felt comfortable in the house, the town, and with Frieda. As well as the welcome pack having a very thorough guide to the area, they gave me a tour and made lots of helpful suggestions. During the stay I had use of one of their e-bikes, which made exploring the hills and little towns nearby very easy and fun. The transport is very well connected, with a few quick local buses into the heart of Offenburg and from there trains to endless daytrip-able towns and cities. Frieda is an incredibly patient and calm cat. She can spook easily due to being deaf but will still report straight to the couch for a good scratch. Though not a lap cat, she is very friendly and independent and will happily snooze outside all day and just pop back inside for a snack. I had a wonderful time in Offenburg and was able to visit a few castles, wineries, and even ducked over to France. I would very highly recommend this sit for a quiet, accessible country getaway.
Wendy, Ashley, and Maddy are delightful and welcoming hosts! Their stone house overlooking Cotignac is a perfect blend of modern comfort inside and historic charm on the outside. The property and the town of Cotignac exude an idyllic Provence lifestyle that could grace the pages of any magazine. During our stay, we lacked nothing for a pleasant experience. The private pool, surrounded by nature, was a particular highlight. The patio attached to the house offers stunning views of the valley and surrounding hills, making it a perfect spot for meals and relaxing evenings. Little Maddy, with her playful nature and endearing personality, easily won our hearts. We couldn’t help but fall in love with her. Walking Maddy from the house to Cotignac along ancient paths and small streets was a memorable experience. Whether for morning pastries or dinner, Maddy was a great companion in the historic town. We also enjoyed playing ball with her in the field behind the house, surrounded by birds, flowers, and fruit trees. Wendy and Ashley are exceptionally kind and easy to communicate with. Among the many house-sitting experiences we’ve had, this one stands out as the very best. Thank you, Wendy, Ashley, and Maddy! 🌟🏡🐾
Jean was an amazing and welcoming host. We had a nice quality time with her before she headed to Australia. She provided every step of help and advice for her two adorable Lurcher girls. Our handover to the second sitters was smooth and no trouble. We also helped the 3rd sitters who lived next door. Jean was in constant contact and we sent pictures of Grace and Rebel so she knew how happy and content they were. The city of Worcester has unbelievable walks despite the floods. We certainly would recommend this sit and hope to return to such a lovely home.
I had a lovely time looking after Candace and Jose! They are very playful, sweet, and cuddly cats. They were super easy to look after and had loads of personality. Candace in particular loved to pretend she didn’t get fed to try and get second breakfasts / dinners. Georgia, Simone, and Harry were all super welcoming and easy to communicate with. They showed me some cool spots around Lisbon and also offered loads of recommendations when I was on my own. The flat was very clean and was well located to get into the city centre. I would definitely recommend this sit to others and would come watch the girls again! Thanks again x
