We had a few days looking after Daisy between Xmas and New Year 2018. The cottage is very cosy and the village has all the amenities you need, we had some very nice walks and runs along the canal and the lanes. It would be convenient to get in to Birmingham as the train station is within walking distance. Daisy was easy to look after, she accepted us quite readily, she loved her little toys and a game on the landing. We had some lovely seasonal treats left for us which was really nice and thoughtful, thanks Jane, a recommended sit.
Had a wonderful time sitting for the family whilst they were travelling. The girls were a dream and we enjoyed many walks around the farm, it felt very relaxing to be there. Lots to do and see nearby.
I have housesat twice here and loved it both times! It's a lovely and relaxing home in a quiet neighborhood of Palo Alto, walkable to all the central shops and restaurants. Little Daisy (their pup) is just the absolute sweetest and both she and Chester (their cat) are easy in terms of care. Communication with Sue was always swift and easy, she and her husband and lovely and I highly recommend this sit!
Bob & Stephanie were amazing hosts! Stephanie picked us up from the bus station and cooked us a FANTASTIC dinner! Red welcomed us at the door and was a wonderful companion our whole sit. He is the biggest teddy bear and loves cuddling in bed or on the sofa. We had a wonderful hand-over, Stephanie and Bob introduced us to friends, left us plenty of contact info and left clear instructions. Stephanie was easy to contact during our sit via WhatsApp. The homes is extremely well located just blocks from amazing walking trails and less than a half mile from downtown and the market. Red was on his best behavior when we all went out to a local pub. He has a lot of energy as he's only 2 but after a few walks and some fetch he settled down very well and slept through the night. Everything you need is within walking distance! The house was very clean and well organized. We enjoyed relaxing in the evenings and Elaine enjoyed a bath in the jetted tub. Overall, it was a wonderful house sit and we hope to be able to come back and spend time with Red again. We highly recommend this sit! - Steven & Elaine
Mary was extremely hospitable and friendly when she gave me a tour of her home. She gave me any details I would need and talked me through Billie’s routine. Billie was a very very sweet and easygoing dog and very well behaved she just loves food and treats! Would recommend future sitters keeping an eye on what she’s sniffing or eating on her walks :)
Sitting for Jessica & Calvin was great! Just Harriet was home with me but she is a chill, sweet cat who I enjoyed spending time with. The house & backyard are lovely, tidy, and great for relaxing in. Jessica was easy to communicate with before & during the sit. Calvin even gave me a ride to my next destination upon their return! I highly recommend this sit and hope I’ll be able to return again in the future!
