I had a wonderful time looking after Bramwell in Jamie and Rosie's lovely home. Great communication both before and during the sit - Jamie and Rosie are very flexible and also allowed me to stay one day longer! And how helpful and warm welcomed they are - Jamie sent me VERY detailed messages on how to get from airport to their house and picked me up from the train station! Bramwell, the dog, is the best! He is very well behaved and easygoing - at home was always next to me. He has bags of energy and likes to fetch ball in the garden and loves long walks in the surrounding fields. He can be an excitable boy and gets upset with cats, so a strong hold is needed but apart from that, he is an inquisitive walker - but Jamie and I had a good walk with Mr B before he and Rosie left, which was invaluable in getting Bramwell and I acquainted. Also! Jamie gave me access to his walking route map app which was very helpful! I could write many more positive words about this sit - it was a pleasure to spend beginning of spring in Marden with Mr B! Thank you again!
Praxie was a sweet cuddly kitty, and Dmitry was very nice and communicative. Great location, great home, I enjoyed my housesit / catsit time. A secured parking space was very helpful as well. I'll look after her any time! Thank you for the opportunity to get to know her :-)
We had a great time at Brock and Leona’s farm. The location is stunning, offering outstanding mountain views, a short drive to Radium Hot springs. We are outdoor enthusiasts so happily embraced the surroundings, made a skating rink on their pond! This was our first experience minding Scottish highland cattle. Easy to care for feeding them hay morning and evening and a delight to spend time with. ❤️ Leo is the sweetest, shy pup, once warmed up he loved playing with his bones outside and going for walks. Beautiful Puccini the kitty was entertaining company! Loudest purr ever with a nice balance of playful, cuddly and aloof! Brock and Leona are a kind, generous couple. We enjoyed spending time with them before and after the sit. We would jump at the chance to look after their fur crew again! Thank you Brock and Leona!
It was fantastic. Sandras dogs and the finca are lovely. Sandra is very helpful and friendly. We had a perfect stay and we felt welcome. The area is beautiful for walking the dogs. Mario loves to play and to cuddle a lot. Annis needs time to trust but if so, she wants a lot of cuddles in the morning as well. Lets keep in touch 😍
We enjoyed our time with Gypsy and Jett. They are very chill and friendly dogs. They get along so well with each other and were easy to walk. Becky and Scott gave us a thorough orientation the day before they left and made us feel very welcome. The home and outdoor patio area are stunning, with a great view of the valley and the sunset every night. Derrick enjoyed the fabulous bird watching in the yard, as dozens of hummingbirds and other bird species visited the giant cactus every morning! We will miss our walks with Gypsy and Jett! Overall, a great house sit.
If you love a snuggly cat, this will be your dream housesit! Louis is the sweetest cat I've ever seen. And yet, if you need to do something else, he is content to let you work or do whatever you need to. The house is gorgeous! Dancy was very communicative and was responsive if I had any questions. Wonderful housesit and I hope I get to sit again here someday.

We did 2 sessions with Wainoni focusing on leash training skills for our overly excitable adolescent dog. We thoroughly enjoyed both sessions and found them to be great value. Our minds were blown by the science behind the method that Wainoni teaches (using physics instead of force) and it truly will be a game changer for us in the long term, once us humans can get it right😂. Wainoni has such a kind and calm approach to dog training, and you can see she is passionate about what she does. Thanks Wainoni for all your help and answering all of our questions. Wainoni is an extraordinary dog trainer. Both with the scientific reasons in how a canine learns & in absolute kindness in teaching us humans how to get the best out of you fur baby, without ever having to raise your voice. A much more pleasurable way for all involved. Our pup, Ollie completely trusted Wainoni & loved showing up for class! It was also a great pleasure for both me & my partner as we learned so much & in only 4 sessions & Ollie is so keen to use what she's learned. Highly recommend! Wainoni delivers incredible service. We have just finished 4 weeks of basic skills for life. Wainoni is passionate and has an amazing knowledge of dogs brains, behaviours and learning style. She has taught us so much - not only about the science and research, but most importantly how to apply it to real life scenarios. I am amazed at how quickly our 4 month old Dalmatian Poppy has picked up the skills Wainoni has taught us. We could see Poppy really loved working with Wainoni too, which was beautiful to see.

I highly recommend Wainoni. My five year old shu tzu dachshund cross would not follow me on walks. But after applying the techniques I learnt I now have a happier more engaged little dog that enjoys walking and even some running. Thanks Wainoni it's made a big difference to our quality of life. Before enrolling our border collie puppy in the B&T program, we faced several challenges. She was easily distracted during walks, pulling on lead, lunging at traffic and barking at the vacuum. She also had separation anxiety, leading to destructive behavior when left alone. After the program, we’ve seen significant improvements. She now remains calm around the vacuum and settles quickly when left alone, reflecting her growing independence. While lead walking in various environments is still a work in progress, Georgia and her team provided us with a clear plan to continue her development confidently. Mignon also used to jump excitedly during greetings, but with the effective tips we received, she continues to learn to greet people politely. Overall, the program has made training more manageable and strengthened our bond with Mignon. We’re grateful for the positive changes and highly recommend Georgia and her team for their expertise and support. What I would caveat others is that this program will not change all the problems with your dog overnight but it does provide a good foundation for us to continue training and working with our dog.
I can't recommend KIP Lake Macquarie Dog Boarding and Training Campus enough! We sent our energetic terrier, Copper, there for 21 days when he was 8 months old, and it was the best decision we could have made for him. Before Copper went to KIP, he was a lively, curious puppy who struggled with focusing and was easily distracted by moving objects, people, and other dogs. However, after his time at KIP, the transformation was incredible. Copper is now much calmer during walks, can focus on us more, and is much better behaved when encountering other dogs. Copper clearly enjoyed his time at KIP — he even gained 0.7 kg in just 21 days, which shows that he was well-fed and had enough activity to keep him happy. From his excitement and reaction, we could tell he developed a strong bond with Amanda, and we are so grateful for the care and attention he received. Throughout our overseas trip, we received regular updates, including photos and emails from the team, which made our time away even sweeter. We are so grateful to Amanda for the ongoing support and for making the handover process smooth. Copper's progress continues, and he’s becoming an even better boy every day. We will definitely send him back in the future and highly recommend KIP Lake Macquarie to any friends or fellow dog owners who want the best care and training for their pups!
We sent my 6 month year old Cavoodle Mia to the board and train program for 3 weeks, and she has come back a total different puppy. From the initial contact regarding her stay and training was very helpful and fast in replying. All of the workers here were always so friendly and happy to help. Her Trainer Amanda, spent lots of time with Mia and changed her persistent ways. Mia has learnt so much with Amanda and was very excited to see her at the refresher/update we just had. We can’t thank Amanda enough and everyone else at Kip that helped our little Mia reach the potential she has in her. We will not be hesitating is sending Mia back there for boarding when needed and refresher training course down the track.
Couldn’t recommend Kip at Lake Macquarie more. We went with a very stubborn and anxious Rottweiler and came home with our boy knowing so many new skills and how to react when in an anxious environment. Georgia sent updates throughout and spent time teaching us how to continue using the skills in the home environment to ensure future training and longevity is possible. Ned loved his stay and everyone there and we are glad our boof was loved as much as we love him. Thank you guys, we are so appreciative of you 💖
Prior to her training at Kip Lake Macquarie our Labrador 'Daisy' was very difficult to take outside of our yard. She was very reactive to other dogs and people, pulled hard on the lead all the time and was difficult to get in and out of the car. At home she was reactive to the doorbell ringing and would bark and then jump on people when they arrived. We booked her in for training after reading so many positive Google reviews about Kip Lake Macquarie. We knew we would miss her while she was away but we thought it would be worth it to have our four legged family member learn how to navigate these situations, so that we could take her out more often without it being a stressful experience for us and for Daisy. We met Georgia when we dropped Daisy off and we immediately knew we had made the right decision. Georgia listened to our issues and what we hoped we could get out of Daisy's training. Georgia reassured us these were all common issues (especially with Labradors) and that she would put a plan in place to work through them. Throughout Daisy's stay we would get email updates with photo's and video's showing us Daisy's progress, we certainly looked forward to these emails! When it was time to pick her up we met again with Georgia who explained what she had been working on with Daisy and also what we needed to do to embed her new learnings. She then gave us a demonstration of Daisy's new behaviors, then both Jayne and I took turns leading Daisy and practicing her new commands. Walking Daisy on a loose lead was certainly a new and pleasant experience for us! Since we have brought her home we have continued to be consistent with the techniques Georgia taught Daisy and showed us. We are truly amazed at the progress that was made and also that we have been able to continue to get the same results at home. We can't recommend Kip training highly enough, the results have exceeded our expectations. We also would like to thank Georgia for her hard work, she has a true love for animals which showed in Daisy's results. Thanks again, Glen and Jayne
Great place and staff. I have 3 working border collies who are not interested in other dogs, my dogs were safe & happy. They accommodated all my requests and sent through heaps of videos & photos & they looked happy and fulfilled in them. The staff were amazing with all 3 of my dogs especially as one can be a bit suspicious of strangers. Highly recommend
I highly recommend Kip Lake Macquarie! My two staffies are always well looked after and cared for and they love Kip. Our dog's trainer was fantastic and we are so happy with our dog's progress. Hunter was a complete handfull. He jumped and pulled on lead, barked at the door and the neighbours and other dogs. KIP Macquarie did an amazing job with him as you can see from the Video on you tube. They gave me the dad a comprehensive handover and we have been practicing his training at home. Which has been challenging because he has two older brothers. Next time I think I will go in for the 3 weeks Board and Train program. Highly recommend the training provided by this amazing team of trainers.
I absolutely love Kip Lake Macquarie and wouldn't take Ninja anywhere else. The staff are extremely professional, friendly and very caring. I love receiving the morning videos which reassures me that Ninja is relaxed and enjoying his stay. What I love the most is the little outdoor area he has access to from his cat enclosure. It enables him to enjoy the outdoors but safely.
Highly recommend KIP for all your boarding or training needs. Axl the Doberman loves his girls and guys at Kip so much and he’s made such great progress. It’s important to have a safe and happy home away from home for your furry friends and I’m glad we have KIP 🐶 …
