Penny
Penny and James are a delightful and charming couple and we were made to feel very welcome from the first time we met. It is an amazing area of green fields and beautiful horses. There are many thriving pubs serving great food, the local Boot inn was outstanding. There are some excellent local farm shops too.
Jack is the most adorable dog we have met. He is full of character, very loving and intelligent. He made our stay a real pleasure. We would definitely recommend this house sit ❤️

Sarah
We really enjoyed our time in Dunbar looking after 3 lovely cats belonging to Sarah.
Sarah's sitter guide is excellent, so although we weren't able to meet in person prior to our sit we felt confident with Sarah's instructions. Communication with Sarah, prior to and during our stay was excellent. It was reasuring to know Sarah was available to contact should there have been a problem.
Sarah's has a well equipt modern 4 bedroom house on a large pleasant estate with lovely walks from the door.
Many thanks to Sarah for accepting our request to sit for Azlan, Lozzy & Pepper.

Ben & Tim
I highly recommend sitting for Tim and Ben in their lovely, comfortable home. Rose, Lily and Bella were a delight to spend time with. They were all on their very best behavior - no doubt because of the love and care that Ben and Tim have given them. And if all that isn't enough to convince you - they have a hot tub and the best cookies ever!

Sally
Sally and Greg are fantastic people with a simply lovely home! And their two kitties are real sweethearts!

Kitties: Leo is rather quiet and takes a little bit to warm up to you. But when he does, you know you've really earned his trust. He keeps to his own but will come running for food, and he loves to hang out in his lofty spot in the garage or in the catio. Landy is a demanding lovebug! He's very talkative (he's deaf), and he will undoubtedly wake you up in the middle of the night. But we found that giving him some extra kibble and love right before bed helped. His huge purr is sure to make you smile, and he is just the sweetest! They were both really easy to care for, with no real special requirements aside from not letting them paw their way outside and keeping Landy to his allergy-specific food.

The Home: The house is located in a beautiful neighborhood of Portland, within walking distance of several food cart pods and downtown. The backyard is absolutely lovely, and we enjoyed hanging out there with the birds and the kitties in their catio. They even have an amazing garden with lots of fresh produce! The neighborhood is quiet, and we had no issues parking on the street (there is an off-street driveway, but it's a bit narrow for two people on either side).

Homeowners: Sally and Greg are super friendly, and it was a pleasure sitting for them - everything from the initial intro video call to occasional correspondence while they were away (they were backpacking, so they didn't have service most of the time), to welcoming them back home and chatting with them in the backyard. We got along with them instantly! They're laid back, love their kitties, and they're generous with their home (offering us any food from their garden, the use of their bikes, and even leaving us some leftover soup for us to eat).

It would be a pleasure to sit for them again, and I would certainly recommend hanging out with these kitties if you're in the area!

Anne
We really enjoyed looking after Anne and Dave's dog, Louis. He was playful and well behaved, a joy to be around, really. We were given comprehensive and accurate instructions. The home was within a 5 minute walk of the beach and several good eating places. A pleasure to sit for!

Kelly
We thoroughly enjoyed our housesit at Kelly and Ankur’s house. Samantha (cat) was shy for awhile, but enjoyed her rituals including saying hello through the screen door to the outdoor cat Josie. The house is very comfortable, spacious and filled with light. We enjoyed getting to know the neighborhoods of Castro Valley, exploring the many trails around Lake Chabot and beyond. Kelly communicated clearly and we enjoyed getting to know each other through the joyful process of housesitting!
