Jessica was such a blessing to us! She is very detail-oriented from the get-go, asking all the right questions to get clarity about a sit, as well as prioritizing the pets and making sure she understands their individual needs and personalities. (She’s also good with humans! Helped guide us through the process and was so friendly and giving.) She kept in touch regularly with little anecdotes and pictures, so we never had to wonder how things were going. We knew all was well and could enjoy our time away knowing our pets were well cared for. Transitions leaving and arriving back home were well organized and seemless. I would recommend her to anyone.
Words can’t fully express how delightful Mr.Kitty and this gorgeous home was. Mr. Kitty, once warming up to you, is a purring lap kitty that will follow you around. His claws are a bit sharp when he kneads so definitely use a blanket to cover your lap (there are plenty of blankets and throws to use). The house is beautifully lit (the sunset views from the living room are indescribable), has a great security system (note: there is an inside house camera that does turn on once the alarm is set), and has truly everything you could need: the quiet and peace, a great kitchen, walkable community trails, binoculars for bird-watching, blackout curtains, a comfortable bed, etc. I did accidentally set off the alarm once so I’d recommend making sure you know how to deactivate it in case that happens! Susan and Steve are warm and full of kindness and life stories. I feel so honored to have crossed paths with them and I’d highly recommend this sit!
We had a delightful time sitting for Victoria, the two dogs are adorable, they loved their walks, very obedient, and well behaved. Victoria had excellent communication, the house was lovely, very comfortable. Only one criticism was no photo of the sleeping accommodation…and bathroom…we were a little cramped in the double bed. (Husband is 6ft 4ins, and I’m 5ft 9…and for most it would be fine! Also there was no shower..a hand shower in bath only, and the bath very slippy. We managed, but may not have taken the sit if we’d known - which would have been a shame, because we loved the sit. There are lots of great walks nearby to go with the dogs, who are great off lead, Mell’s river walk (cafe st start/finish) and Great Elms river, as well as Mendip And Collier ways. Wells and Glastonbury nearby, and dogs happy to be left for a few hours whilst we explored. Thank you victoria, it as a great sit.
One of the best sits I ever had, Kim and Gillian were very helpful, they gave me all the information I needed and communication was such a breeze. Their two cats Simi and Max are the sweetest cats ever, they are very independent and quiet, and it was very easy to take care of them. The house is in a quiet street, a minute walk to skytrain and it was very comfortable living there I will definitely sit for them again. Thanks Kim and Gillian for giving me the pleasure of taking care of Max and Simi, hopefully I will see you all again soon
Ken and Cindy provided a lovely stay for our time in NH. It's obvious they have hosted numerous guests as their welcome guide provides every bit of information one could ever need! It was really nice to have such an organized, well thought out guidance from them. Add in their kind hospitality, wonderful home and shy but loveable Alice and it made for a delightful stay! We had a wonderful time at Wurtulla Beach on the Sunshine Coast. Anne and David were so welcoming and communication was excellent both before and during the housesit. We were very comfortable in their lovely home and garden. Louie is the most gorgeous dog! He was so much fun and so well behaved. We just loved him! There is a lot to see in the area . Lots of stunning scenery both along the coast and in the hinterland. Thank you so much Anne and David for such a wonderful holiday.
