Dog Sitters in Tostock

We had the pleasure of having Steve as our dog sitter for two weeks while we were on our belated honeymoon, and I cannot recommend him highly enough. From start to finish, Steve was absolutely fantastic. He cared for our three dogs—a Cockerpoo and two Great Danes—with incredible patience and dedication. One of our dogs took a little while to settle in, but Steve handled the situation with endless patience, ensuring that all our pets were comfortable and happy. He walked the dogs twice daily, which was no small feat given their size and energy levels, but he managed it all with ease and professionalism. Not only did Steve take exceptional care of our dogs, but he also left our house in immaculate condition. We were consistently updated throughout our time away, which gave us peace of mind and allowed us to fully enjoy our trip knowing our dogs were in safe hands. Steve is a genuinely nice guy, and we would not hesitate to use his services again. Thanks to him, our honeymoon was even more memorable, as we didn't have to worry about anything back home. We are incredibly grateful for everything he did and would recommend him without hesitation to anyone in need of a top-notch dog sitter. Thank you so much, Steve!

Rebekah (and Peter) house-sat our home, two dogs, three chickens, two Guinea pigs and three goldfish over the Christmas break. We could not have been happier - the house was as tidy as we left it, they kept in touch sending us photos of our dogs and even clipped the Guinea pigs' (and Westie's) toenails (Rebekah is a vet). Friendly, charming couple who we would recommend to anyone. As they are relatively new to TH, they readily produced passports, and proof of address and employment.

Will and Leah were great pet sitters. Their communication was excellent before and during the sit. They sent photos and messages to keep us up to date on how our dog was going. And they left the house in the same condition as we left it. We would recommend and welcome them back anytime 🙂

Tiana is a regular sitter for me and my beloved Gertie. We both think she’s terrific!

Hannah and Chris were delightful and felt very relaxed leaving Brandy with them in our home. They were very efficient with communication prior to the sit and made a special effort to arrive before we left to have a handover. They sent us regular updates and pics ! We came home to a lovey tidy home ! We would most definitely recommend them and would be delighted if they wanted to sit for us again! Thank you both

Amy took care of Toshi and our house shortly after Toshi had gone through a trauma. Amy's care of Toshi and communication with us was perfect. Everything was left in excellent order and we would highly recommend her.

Jan and Steve settled spent a week as devoted and attentive slaves to HRH Kwabi, pandering to his every whim, grooming him til his coat gleamed and leaving him reluctant to acknowledge me on my return. Home and garden were immaculate, plants, including the greenhouse and pots, in excellent health and most importantly a happy, healthy cat. Jan and Steve dealt with a minor hiccup involving a garage door with efficiency and good humour and sent regular sitreps with photos showing just how much I was (not) being missed. If you are looking for the ideal sitters, look no further. Kwabi and I look forward to them coming again soon. Thank you so much, Jan and Steve- you were ace!

Thank you so much Gloria for looking after little Maggie! Communication with Gloria was super easy, she was very responsive and reliable and I very much appreciated her flexibility. Knowing her at home with Maggie made me feel very much at ease. She sent photos and updates and I returned to a happy and relaxed cat and a tidy home. Sarah, Sam and Dexter were the perfect house sitters. We had a call before the sit to discuss the animals we had and the types of care needed. Sarah explained her experience and how they liked to work so we felt it was a perfect fit from the start. We did a handover before we went away and had a chance to get to know the family and show them the ropes. Sam took lots of videos and photos during the handover so he could refer to them if needed. We got regular updates with videos and photos which made us feel that all the animals were being cared for well. If there was anything unsure of we kept in touch via WhatsApp which helped. We had a poorly lamb and Sam ensures she was being well looked after. On return the house was lovely and clean and Sarah had even done some washing for our holiday let whilst we were away. Both Sarah and Sam went over and above what was expected of them during the sit and their son Dexter is well behaved and a joy who made himself at home quickly. We would have no hesitation on recommending them for anyone who wants to feel confident that their home and animals are being cared for. We feel we have made three new friends now and hope to keep in touch.
