We were very fortunate to stay at Debbie’s and Neils beautiful home in Pinner and care for their adorable boys Leo and Ted. Leo and Ted are very easy to care for, they love their daily walks and just to be around you and be cuddled. All instruction were made quite clear by Debbie. Anyone lucky enough to get the opportunity to look after Leo and Ted and their beautiful home/garden will not be disappointed. We loved the sit in this peaceful, relaxed neighborhood just outside London. We would love to come back one day.
We had a wonderful time at Andrew and Hillary’s house in Washington DC. They were very hospitable and helpful. The house was clean and tidy and located in a very convenient location. Communication was simple and the written guide had very clear instructions, making it a very easy and enjoyable housesit. It was such a pleasure to take care of Kiwi and Rita, some of the most loving cats we have ever come across. We recommend housesitting for Andrew and Hillary, so much so that we hope that some day we can return and housesit for them again 😊

My 2 young rescues absolutely love it here! Juliet and Eugene obviously genuinely care for all the dogs and know them really well. I always feel like I'm leaving them in safe hands. They come back exhausted from adventures in the woods and playing on the equipment which is great! Highly recommended.
My puppy Teddy went to Oh My Dog for daycare while we were camping near by. Juliet was kind, accommodating and supportive throughout and Teddy had a lovely time. I highly recommend oh my dog, especially for those who aren't a fan of putting their pups in kennels!
Highly recommended Oh My Dog. Juliet and Eugene are lovely people who definitely care about the health and overall wellbeing of your dog when under their care. They have been very accommodating with our Great Dane who has been going now for several months and thoroughly enjoys it, and we are content knowing that she is well looked after. Juliet and Eugene have created something truly special with Oh My Dog. We have a sweet and very nervous rescue, plus we are first-time dog owners with our own confidence issues, none of which were judged or dismissed by these wonderful kind folk. Juliet made me and our girl Alice feel safe and welcome immediately, and went above and beyond to help us acclimate. We visited multiple times, increasing her time in the facility with each session based on observing her behaviour and body language. I learnt so much! While it is still unclear if Alice will ever be fully joyful to enter a roomful of dogs, her confidence and ours have been positively impacted by this kind of safe socialisation in ways that have changed our lives. Our trust in each other has grown, our bond is stronger and this has opened so many doors for her quality of life to increase. Thanks to her 'exposure therapy' with Juliet and all the other gorgeous pups at Oh My Dog, Alice has now made multiple new dog friends locally, and is enjoying off-lead time at a dog-friendly beach. I don't think these things could have happened without Oh My Dog, and Juliet and Eugene's wisdom, generosity and kindness.
We are so fortunate to have found Juliet and Eugene at Oh My Dog, they are the most kind, caring, gentle and lovely humans and have an amazing passion for dogs which was apparent from the moment we met them. Our whippet has been spending one day a week with them for over a year and is always very happy to go in when we drop him off. He has such a good time enjoying lots of play, socialisation, an afternoon snooze and enjoys lovely woodland walks each day where he can let off some steam with zoomies. Juliet and Eugene are so knowledgable about dogs and their behaviour and personalities and we completely trust them with our dog who means the world to us! Juliet and Eugene are absolute superstars - we are so lucky to have met them. They are lifesavers and we feel so relieved to know that our dog is having the best care during the day! Absolutely cracking service, friendly staff and a great environment for the dogs; our little sprocker spaniel Tilly had a fab day here playing with the other dogs and the staff. She was worn out! We received lots of updates and videos which helped settle our minds whilst our pup was “in nursery” lol thank you so much for fitting us in!
We can't recommend "Oh my Dog" enough. We were looking for a place where we could drop our dog off whilst we explored the area looking for our new house. We took our little Jack Russell to see Juliet and Eugene initially for half a day to see how she would get on. She had a great time interacting all the other dogs and we booked her in for several more sessions. Both Juliet and Eugene adore dogs and are patient and caring. It's a shame we are moving to a different area as we're going to find it hard to find a place as good as theirs. Thank you to both of you.
5* and more. Cannot recommend Emma and family enough to look after your dogs. Our boy has stayed a couple of times, the most recent being a 15 night stay. He was so loved and looked after during his stay there, I felt completely comfortable being abroad knowing he was being so well looked after. I loved the photo updates from Emma, and when I got home I could see just how much my boy loved Emma, her husband and children. Will not hesitate to leave him there again when we go away. I couldn’t have asked for a more caring or kind person to look after our elderly dog woody. Emma made us feel at ease straight away and won our dog over with a piece of chicken on arrival! Emma made sure to update us throughout the day and sent photos of him resting and playing. The best sign was that he was sad when she left!
Emma is the perfect dog-walker and carer; she is so kind, knowledgeable and very professional. I booked her to look after our 3 spaniels for 14 hours on my daughter’s wedding day. She also came along to meet them the day before. Emma was lovely with them and took great care to reassure them during all the wedding chaos as they were unsettled by being in a strange place with lots of noise. One of my dogs was unwell on the day and Emma dealt with her so well. I was very grateful she was there, as were the dogs who really liked her! Emma put in a very long day for us and took the worry away on what was a very special day for our family. I can highly recommend Emma and will definitely be asking her to look after my dogs again. She’s a treasure!
Teddy adores Emma as she is such fun and he loves his walks. As a Cockerpoos he can be full on but Emma gets him to behave correctly. Always reliable and fully knowledgeable about animals. She has also cared for a friends cats. Teddy also enjoys overnight stays. Cannot praise her enough. Lovely lady, great service.
So trustworthy and flexible. We had never used a dog sitter/walker before but Emma took all our worries away. She has looked after our small terrier and retriever pup so well when we are at work and provides us with regular updates. Emma is really professional but also relaxed and friendly - someone you can happily have in your home and helps you feel really at ease with leaving your pets. We can’t recommend Dartmouth Canine Care enough!
Even though Emma advertises dog care, and we have a cat, we enlisted her twice this year to come visit our cat at our home every day when we were away. Each trip was 2 weeks long, and Emma fed her and gave her plenty of fuss and attention (when Miss Cat made an appearance...). Emma also kept houseplants from dying and post from piling up. She was totally reliable, irrespective of crazy Devon traffic due to road closures, or dreadful weather. Based on our girl's reaction, Emma is as good with cats as with dogs. We came home each time to a very contented kitty. We have total confidence in Emma and her care for our cat and our home. So pleased we found her! Thank you Emma!
Let me start by saying that I am extremely particular when I choose someone to look after my dogs. They have to be perfect. I have interviewed many people who haven’t made the grade. This may sound harsh, but because I’m asking someone to look after my dogs, who can’t speak and tell me what’s happening, because I have five large/working breed dogs, this has to be someone I feel has enough presence, capability and confidence to manage them. I have to really trust this person. From the second I met Emma, and not only my happy, waggy labs and retriever were pleased to meet her, but my neurotic “gah! New people!” spaniel also wanted to get involved, I just knew. I was leaving my dogs with Emma whilst we were all on holiday, so I had to have extra confidence in her as I wasn’t near my vet etc. I didn’t doubt her for one minute. Emma is lovely! She’s kind, caring, flexible, punctual, calm, understanding, professional and just all in all lovely! (She also takes great pictures of your pooches!) My daughter met Emma the second time she looked after the boys for us and she said “I know exactly why you trust Emma, she’s got that good person vibe. I know why you trusted her with the dogs straight away.” And that’s it really. Emma is brilliant. If you’re looking for someone to look after your dogs in The South Hams, then may I recommend Emma? Because you really won’t find anyone better.

Emma looked after Bear for us when we needed to be out for day but couldn’t take him with us. He is very particular about who he likes and dislikes but took to her immediately and didn’t miss us at all. I would not hesitate to recommend her.

I had to leave my darling little Teddy for the first time ever with Jo as a dog sitter and I have to say initially I was so apprehensive as he has always been looked after at home. I could not have been more happy and cannot thank Jo enough. Teddy had the time of his life, made amazing fur friends, was taken on lovely walks and even developed some new passions that I never knew he had! Jo sent loads of videos and texts whenever I asked how he was and I truly cannot be more happier. Ted came back with a spring in his step , totally relaxed and contented to the extent I worry he is bored now he is home! To see him snuggled in with her dogs and having such a good time made my holiday go so much more smoother knowing he was in capable, loving and superb hands. I have met Jo on several occasions when she has brought her client’s dogs to me for grooming. Jo always goes above and beyond with dogs in her care, she has a very caring nature and has rescue dogs herself, she understands dogs needs and behavioural patterns. I would highly recommend Jo to anyone looking for someone to care for and exercise their fury friend.
Jo is a fantastic caring person who has a vast canine knowledge and our 2 dogs are always excited to see her which says it all. Would highly recommend and is much nicer than putting your dog into a kennel especially if they are rescue dogs, which she has a lot of knowledge about.

Our cat has serious medical issues but this was not a problem. They just took it in their stride. They took great care of our old boy and everything was fine. Lovely people. Delighted with the service provided by Paws Pals. After an initial meeting, where we had the opportunity to discuss our pet’s needs, the service was very easy to use. We’ve used them on four occasions so far and Julia and Mike are absolutely reliable and we can see that our cat has been well cared for. We will continue to use this business for her.

Julia looked after our cat Phoenix when we went away on one of our many holidays. It was great that we had the piece of mind that he was safe in his own home and couldn't speak highly enough of the service provided. Just to see Phoenix relaxed when we returned was all the value we needed. Julia is prompt reponding to any e-mails and would not use anyone else if we were still back in the UK. We first contacted Paws Pals 5 years ago when my wife and I were both travelling extensively. At the time we needed a cat sitter for two cats for 6 weeks. Since then we have used them frequently for long and short periods of time. Over the years we have had many difficult requests, for example we adopted a stray tom cat 2 years ago that had to be kept apart from the other cats for a month and during that time we had to be away for a couple of weeks. Julia, who owns Paws Pals, did not mind in the slightest and got on with everything without any issues. We now have 3 cats who all need feeding different food, at different places and one of them is an indoor cat who requires a litter tray. I have to say Julia has been amazing over the years and we owe her so much. She is super responsive, efficient and flexible and we trust her completely. The cats never seem to miss us when we get back.
We've used Julia to feed our two cats for three years and have been very happy customers. We always come back to a clean and tidy kitchen and happy cats, and Julia is always very responsive to emails, both before and during the cat-sitting.
I met Ollie and Emma (Paws Pals) as my lovely friendly neighbours, and was delighted to have them looking after my two cats for the past few years while I've been on holiday. They not only provide an excellent and reassuring service for the humans, but very obviously love getting to know new cats. It is evident that they genuinely care for them. They get extra points for not balking at the sight of my fiddly water dispenser!
i phoned and made an appointment on the 12th of june --as you would --to see if these kennels were of the standard i would be looking for,to place my dogs .I arrived by taxi to find the place locked up ,and deserted . Upon returning home having waited there half an hour i phoned this place to be told that he knew i was coming but had being called away .why no one had the manners to contact me i do not know i received no apology and ended up with £60 taxi bill NOT IMPRESSED
this place is a joke they should get done for false advertising nothing like they say it is my dog was in for4 days after 3 days trying to contact the owners we decided to drive over when seeing my dog very dehydrated stressed out i decided to take him home
A friends dog stayed here and they were absolutely filthy when the dog was picked up, including their bedding and toys. The dog has been really withdrawn since being picked up and not his usual self.
My cat stayed here during a school holiiday and came back seeming quite happy. The pens are concrete, but larger than those in many other catteries. It is basic but she seemed well and looked nice and healthy upon her return home. Communication was straightforward.
Not happy with the services. I left my two dogs here for a week. When we went to pick them up the staff refused to give us the dogs back saying they were closed even though it was only 4:15pm. And they close at half past. Both dogs were freezing and are now really withdrawn. I has been refusing to eat unless hand fed. Same with drinking. Both of their fur is matted and dirty. Didn't get the bedding or toys back. I do not recommend this place yo anyone.
Not impressed. Depressing place for cats. Our cats had used their bedding for a litter tray, this was not noticed by carers. We were greeted with, ' they don't like me'. Thank goodness it was only a two night stay. We will not be sending our cats there again!

Our Vizsla absolutely LOVES spending days / nights with Dottie. I have 100% trust in her that our dog is safe, well cared for and stimulated when in day care or boarding overnight. Dottie provides us with regular updates throughout the day and we have some gorgeous photos / videos of the dogs having a great time. I cannot rate Dottie highly enough, she clearly adores all of the dogs she cares for.
Dottie is great with my 1.5 year old cockapoo Maisie 💕 Maisie's also been an anxious dog around strangers, but loves other dogs and used to have the most awful separation anxiety when away from us - she'd be quiet, withdrawn, sad and unengaged when left with friends or even several dog walkers we tried! We wanted her to know that is was possible to enjoy time with people outside the family and that is exactly what Dottie's home from home style doggy daycare offers!! 😊 Dottie took the time to meet us (and Maisie) prior to taking her on to ensure she could meet all of our needs. She was very thorough on taking our details, Maisie's care needs and reassuring us a really needy 'dog pawrents'! Maisie has been happy to walk into Dottie's every week and now loves her weekly day at daycare. And comes back absolutely exhausted after playing with other dogs and training with Dottie. Dottie's sends us photos and videos throughout the day go reassure us Maisie is having fun - and we are so happy to have found somewhere that Maisie loves and thay we trust 💗 Thank-you Dottie xxx
Saxon has been going to Dottie’s for a couple of months now and absolutely loves his home from home experience. As he’s only a puppy it was really important that he felt part of the family when at day care. Dottie loves our boy like her own and I love seeing all the pup dates of what he’s getting up to. Dottie even helps with the training we are learning from puppy class ensuring a consistent approach both at home and away. Dottie is always so accommodating and I would highly recommend her to anyone who wants their dog to have lots of fun, hugs and safe play. We will be using Dottie for a long time as our boy feels so at home.
I know Mutley had a great time in the picturesque setting, with other dogs to play with. I had lots of updates, videos & pictures .Dottie has a calm & kind nature& you know your beloved pet is being well looked after. Our cocker spaniel Indie has been visiting Dottie on day trips for a few months now and always has the most amazing time. Dottie is fantastic with her and really makes it feel like a home from home. Indie always comes back tired from all the running about, which is impressive for our cocker! We always get lots of lovely photos and videos from Dottie on what Indie is getting up to.
I was recommended Dottie’s services, numerous times, when I asked for help finding a dog sitter on a local residents Facebook group. Dottie was immediately responsive to my enquiry and asked to meet Frank (my Schnoodle). I knew on arrival at Dottie’s doggy friendly home that he would be getting a holiday, as well as us! Dottie has lots of open garden/field area for the dogs to run around (as well as walkies) and a lovely big lounge with large sofas. When Frank stayed he had his bed but chose to sleep on one of the sofas and gave Dottie and her partner cuddles in the evening. My children and I loved seeing the photos and videos of Frank, that Dotty sent to us, whilst we were away. In fact it was the highlight of my 4 year olds holiday; seeing Frank run around with the other dogs. I would not hesitate to recommend Dottie’s Dog Care services and I’m so happy to have found her for Frank.
Can’t fault Dottie’s daycare services, Dottie is so calm and caring with the dogs, they love her to bits. My nervous cockerpoo started going in January and she gets so excited when she knows she’s going. She’s now mixing well with other dogs and gets a really good day of exercise, would highly recommend x
Amazing daycare centre in Helens lovely home is perfect for my 6 month puppy vizsla x pointer (mango). She has a great time and I get lots of lovely videos and updates of how her day is going! They have a huge enclosed field which the pups play in! Helen is so kind and flexible start and end times! Mango comes back very tired after a lovely day of socialising and cuddles. I’m so lucky to have found her!
Cannot recommend Dotties Doggy Daycare highly enough. From our first meeting it was clear to me my little Gem was in safe hands. This was Gems first time away from me, as a pandemic pup socialising had been difficult, however, after a few visits Gem has grown in confidence with other dogs and simply adores Dottie. I get regular video updates throughout the day to keep me calm too!! All in all a 5* ++++ from me, and of course Gem.
Dottie’s is a wonderful doggy daycare place. She’s very kind, patient, friendly and caring with the dogs and they have so much fun. Reasonably priced and a good amount of outside space for them to play. We also like that there’s a small number of dogs at a time which is great for our slightly nervous dog.
