Amy and her daughter Catherine house and pet sat for our two cats and five chickens in the autumn of 2019. From the time we met them (the day before we left home), till we returned home nearly six weeks later, we never had any doubts but that our animals would be in competent and caring hands. Amy kept in touch with us whilst we were away, and any problems that occurred in our absence, she just sorted out without fuss. We would recommend her without reservation to look after your home or pets.
Kahn was such a chill guy and warmed up to us after a good walk. Courtney was helpful and friendly and easy to work with.
Tracy's home is exquisite - art, nature in every window and beauty from tiled floors to ceiling. All the animals were gentle and easy. And, definitely a wild bird and bees haven. I greatly enjoyed the tranquility while reading on the patio watching the geese, chicken, and goats dawdle under the giant sequoia. Inside the house the parakeets alternated between chatter and song. Feeding, watering chores for all animals were only about 1/2 hour twice a day - but with care and detail. (I did change the geese water more frequently than needed as they seemed to enjoy bathing in clean tubs.) Tracy was very responsive to questions before and during. I felt welcomed and highly recommend this "farm" sit and hope to return soon.
Davina is one of my fav pets to housesit. She is so affectionate, adorable and easy to care for. Pay attention that she doesn't eat sticks and rocks when walking her. Ed is quite funny, warm, generous and welcoming. He was very attentive to get things sorted at the home when I raised a house issue. The home needed some TLC, when I arrived so I had to wipe down the kitchen bench, table and fridge and there was an odour in the bedroom, I understand that Ed was working that day and had to flight out for his holiday. I enjoyed the gated apartment where there was a garden to get away from the hustle and bustle of East Ham and a wonderful spot for Davina to play, poop and pee. The most memorable moments were walking Davina to the local park and meet other dog owners and allowing Davina to interact with their pets. It was quite fun to watch!
