This was one of the best sits I’ve been on. The house is very comfortable and cosy and has everything you could need and a sauna and logburner on top to warm back up after a hike in the cold Swedish weather. It is set in beautiful quiet and peaceful surrounding with a few other houses in sight to make you feel safe should anything happen. Beautiful walks straight from the house and many more just a short car ride away. The seaside city of Varberg is just a 25 minute drive and has everything you could wish for.
Gunnar and Tilly were incredible hosts, so kind, friendly and helpful, they went out of their ways to make sure I was comfortable, and boy, was I! They picked me up from the station and cooked a lovely curry for me the day I arrived. The fridge was so well stocked I didn’t have to buy any vegetables during my - two week! - stay. And they were kind enough to let me use their car in exchange for a ride to te station.

And the cats. Oh, the cats. How I loved them! They are still quite young and playful and I enjoyed them so much. They love it when you join them in their adventures outside running and jumping and climbing trees, they gave me such laughs. And both were great cuddlers as well! Whisper accepted me right away and greeted me with some laptime and very loud purs every time she (or I) entered a room. Tova needed a bit more time to get used to me, but when she did she would crawl on my lap or in the bed with me to stay, purring, purring, purring. They quickly stole my heart and when I was out one of those amazingly beautiful walks I would find myself longing to go back to the house as I was missing the cats.

Thank you so much, Gunnar and Tilly, for trusting me with your house and precious cats and for making my stay so very comfortable. I would LOVE to return whenever you need a sitter again, am missing Tova and Whisper very much.

My gosh; what adorable pups I got to care for for Katrina and David! Ellie is loveable and patient while Sirsha is lovable and ever-curious (her job at 7 months old). We took one or two walks every day around the neighborhood or through one of several local parks, followed by tummy rubs and naps. Katrina provided very clear instructions, and the house was comfortable and walkable to town. I’d sit for these pups any time.
