I had such a wonderful time looking after Briana and Matt's two lovely cats! Anchovie and Mustaine are well-behaved and very affectionate. They love nothing more than chilling with you, whether you're working or watching Netflix, and so you're guaranteed to always have some great company :) Matt and Briana were both so welcoming. All correspondence was answered quickly, so I never found myself not knowing what to do. The house is beautiful - a great space to work and relax with the cats, great internet, outdoor space, a great location (you could never be bored in Balham). Basically, this housesit has everything, and I was sad to leave!
We had a great time with Toffee and Fudge, they're both beautiful, loving, smart dogs. Toffee is more reserved, very sweet, always checked on us during walks. Fudge loves food and wooden sticks. You can still see the puppy in her (puppy cuteness overload). She looks up to Toffee a lot. Toffee can be a bit nervous and Fudge a bit vocal around other dogs, which surely will improve as Fudge continues her training. We went on a local group walk with 2 other dogs and 11 people, people said that they were both very attentive, listened well and couldn't believe that Toffee was already 8 years old as they thought she was younger. They're very patient/calm during remote working hours, ring door bells to ask to go out in the garden, and go to the toilet on command. Stephen and Susan are great hosts: they've invited us over for dinner (Stephen is a chef) and to stay with them the evening before the start of the sit. Stephen gave us a thorough house tour and welcome guide and showed us local walks. Their home is stunning, very comfortable (with an infrared sauna, an indoor pool with an automatic cover, a chef kitchen, a vegetable garden we were invited to help ourselves to !), definitely a dream house. Beautiful woods / walks are only a short drive away, there is also a field behind the house. We highly recommend this sit, thank you so much !
Sowmya and Ramana are the loveliest of people. They were so kind and considerate before, during and after my stay. Their home was very comfortable and exceptionally clean. They also left me some of their home made curries to heat up which were utterly delicious. The cats take a little while to warm up but are such sweeties when they do emerge from their hiding places; Nala is cheeky and playful and Yoda is a love bug. You must be comfortable preparing Yoda's medicine and meals which are important to get right but Ramana's explanation is exacting and easy to follow. And the adoration you get while undertaking the process makes it very enjoyable! Not sure about public transport as I had a car but they are so close to shops and the Preston Market that I would have no trouble recommending their home to sitters. Thanks both for being so thoughtful and welcoming.
It was a real pleasure to take care of Catherine's lovely apartment and friendly animals. Zelda was my first Chihuahua and I was surprised at her nice personality. We took day trips by bus to Baden and by train to Lucerne. Definitely a place to which I would happily return.
Isabel's home is in such a great location and Mooney was a sweetheart!! I loved staying in this beautiful apartment, and walking right down the road to get food and shop. Isabel was also great and responded quickly to any questions I had. Super easy and fun stay! I hope I get to come back and watch Mooney again in the future.
The most perfect sit! Stacy and Martin were the most welcoming, sweet and generous hosts. I had the pleasure of spending a couple of days with them and was shown around. The dogs Nyx and Berg are so cute, sweet and well behaved. They walked perfectly on leash and I could have them off leash on the beach or in the woods. Inside the house they followed me everywhere, slept in my bed and a lot of cuddles and kisses. I loved it, two warm heaters in a chilly night what can better. The house is so nice and beautiful and the neighborhood is nice and close to the beach and there are surfers everywhere. I can highly recommend this sit. Beautiful sweet dogs, nice area and wonderful hosts. Thanks for trusting me and giving me this opportunity. Would love to be back
