From the moment we saw Rick's profile and response to our listing for a month-long sit, we knew he'd be a good fit. We met on Skype first and that just cemented our feelings. Rick was so excited about the opportunity to come and house-sit for us, he organised everything straight away. He was flexible with his arrival and departure dates, curious to know how and what needed doing. We were in constant communication since before, during and after his stay, with Rick providing daily updates on how our beloved cat Jippie and fish (and frog!) were doing. Rick was so caring with Jippie, not wanting to leave the apartment for too long during the day so as to not leave her on her own for long. We can tell she appreciated everything he did for her because she snuggled up with him on the couch in a way she hardly even does with us! When there was a possibility that Jippie might have needed to go to the vet, Rick was in touch with us immediately and rushed out to see the vet to speak with them in person about the situation. When we got home, our apartment was spotless, as though no one had been here at all, except for the fact that our plants were as we had left them, the fish and frog were all healthy and Jippie looked well-fed and happy. I believe we have found a friend in Rick, someone who we'll stay in touch with and hopefully our paths will cross again. We would absolutely, hands-down, recommend Rick to anyone looking for an ultra-reliable, caring, kind, organised, clean, animal-loving, awesome sitter.
Kirstin was absolutely amazing, so much so that even our neighbors raved about her after we returned. She took excellent care of our pup and our home. Kirstin arrived on time the day we were leaving, kept in touch while we were away, and generously stayed a bit longer when our flight was delayed. We live full time in our motorhome, which is a bit of a change from a normal home. We truly appreciate Kirstin’s willingness to try something new when staying in our home. Kirstin is just great. Totally recommend her!
