We had a brilliant two weeks looking after Bono & Buster (Bernie went away with his family). The boys are so lovely and were very well behaved. Krassy and Clive were great hosts, they gave us all the information we required and made sure we had everything we needed to feel at home straight away. The house is beautiful and has everything you could possibly need! It’s in a great location for some good walks, the boys know exactly where they like to walk. Buster loves chasing his ball whereas Bono is quite happy running around and sniffing everything he can 🤣 They both loved to cuddle up on the sofa in the evenings which was lovely. We will miss their company a lot! We would 100% recommend sitting for Krassy & Clive if you get the opportunity, I can assure you you’ll have a great time! Thank you both ☺️
What a wonderful house-sitting experience! Daisy, Coco and Elvis were an absolute joy to take care of and Mark and Lucinda helped us feel welcome and at home when we met them the day before they left. Their beautiful home is a short drive to several lovely villages and there’s no shortage of walks to go on. We are very grateful to be have been accepted for this sit as it completely made our summer. Thank you!
Sally and her family live in a beautiful house in a very green area of Hamburg. The house was clean and comfortable and the huge garden is amazing to relax or study in. The cats are absolutely lovely and have unique and adorable personalities. Zoe is very curious and likes to follow you around a bit more, and once you go to bed she will be all over you purring & making the sweetest little noises asking to be pet and sleep together. It's soo sweet. Rigo is a bit more independent and will choose day by day whether he wants to spend more time with you or by himself laying on his seat by the window , but whenever you come to pet him, he will enjoy it and be glad to spend time with you. And if he starts sleeping in the bed you will know he has become content with you living in his home 😁 he loves being brushed and needs a bit of motivation to play, but it's so worth it because it's really good for him to be a bit more active, so you should put in the time to create some good playtime with both cats everyday. This is also very important to Sally and she will tell you exactly what you need to know about both cats characters, to spend quality time and take good care of them. Sally's communication was great. We had some really good exchanges beforehand, so she knew the cats were in good hands and I knew what to do and so the communication was smooth and easy during the whole time. Sally and her family made me feel welcome in their beautiful home and trusted with their cats and I'd totally recommend sitting Zoe and Rigo in Hamburg.
Our sit at Nick & Nikki‘s in Bath looking after the lovely Baxter & Penny could not have possible gone any better. It was an absolute dream :) Nick & Nikki (and of course their kids) made sure that we felt extremely welcome, both before, during and after the sit. They are an extremely lovely family who we feel very lucky to have met! They gave us clear instructions, and were always available for questions. We absolutely fell in love with the dogs - they are truly one of a kind. Baxter is hilarious, and while he wasn‘t too keen on walking while we were there, he was always keeping us company and loved to snuggle up on the couch. Penny loves to shower you with snuggles too, and she is well behaved on her walks! They are both such characters and will make you laugh non stop!! The house is extremely beautiful, comfortable, and has everything and more that you could need! We would 1000% recommend this housesit to anyone, although we very much hope to always be available ourselves so hope this won‘t be necessary :) Thank you guys for everything, hopefully we‘ll see you again soon!
Juno is engaging, loving and full of playfulness. Lizbeth & Rick have a nicely defined routine for Juno which makes it easy to care for her. Juno has a doggy flap in the basement which she uses to go out in and out of backyard at anytime during the day. The home is very comfortable, organized and has a large, fully fenced backyard that backs to woods and a reservoir. The wifi is excellent and there are 2 dedicated work spaces with desks for you to use. There are 2 decks with seating which overlook the backyard. The neighborhood is beautiful with rolling green hills in an area close to excellent restaurants and markets. We particularly enjoyed Bailey's Backyard (Ridgefield) and Pho Vietnam. Our 'go to' market was Caraluzzi's which is only a 5 minute drive from the house. We would most definitely do this sit again, and we'd hope for it to be longer than our first sit.
Matt and Susú are really great folks. Their home feels like an Airbnb and they make sure you have all the necessities. The kitchen is gorgeous. Of course, Nacho and Blue are the best! They’re really easy and if they’re not napping, they’re just playing around with stuffed toys. Blue will use his good looks to hide that he is a runner, so even if you’re feeling good with him, it’s best to keep him in a separate area any time you’re opening doors. Fortunately, he’s cute and made up for it with snuggles. Nacho loves his frisbee so it’s easy to help him run off his energy. Thanks, Matt and Susú for opening your home and pups to me. All the best!
