We really enjoyed this sit. Tiggy and her family have a lovely house and garden in a pleasant setting just outside York, so it is a great place to hole up and relax or to use as a base for exploring the city and its environs. The family are warm and welcoming, and the two cats are wonderfully different. Martha may take a while to get used to you, and is extremely independent, but she’s nonetheless friendly to the point of wanting to join you in bed! Arthur, a Maine Coon, is just a super laid back, gentle and lovable giant who will roll over at the drop of a hat, play with you, sit with you, etc, etc. All in all, it’s a great package, and we’d definitely recommend applying for any future sits.

We had an amazing stay and simply adored looking after Ella and Otis who were just delightful, full of energy, character and extremely cheeky! The wonderful garden was a joy to explore everyday with the dogs and certainly kept us very fit. The views and scenery are stunning with plenty of lovely walks in the village and surrounding areas. The location is quite rural so a car is advantageous but there are pubs, a post office and a general stores all within walking distance of the house. Highly recommended.
