Carrie & Brian are the real deal. Down to earth, world travelers who know the ropes. . . . . They gave us the opportunity to walk our two dogs with them prior to the sit, and we met with them again just before leaving. Our week in Alaska was so relaxing knowing these two were watching the house and our Border Collies. And they were SO gracious when one dog decided, after two years with no issues, that he could jump the fence and go visit neighbors. We really appreciate the extra work they put into our dogs and looking after our home, laundry done and everything was super neat, clean and tidy when we returned. Two big thumbs up – you won’t be disappointed.
We had a great time house sitting at Louise and Karl’s wonderful home. They are so friendly and welcoming, we felt very much at home. The animals are all lovely. Feeding them was great fun and really straight forward. It was great spending time with the two pigs and their adorable piglets, the chickens, ducks, bunnies, goats, cows and Tizzy the cat. We hope to see them all again! It was a lovely break in the quiet countryside with walks and lots of lovely pubs a short drive away. I’d highly recommend. Thanks for having us!
Staying at Wildernest was something of a dream. We usually take city sits and spending 2 weeks in this idyllic setting was just what we needed. It was a delight to look after the chickens and geese. It was fun to get them in and out and to watch them exploring the barn and garden. Woody the cat was a cutie who popped in and out for food now and again. Hugh and Jude were brilliant and really made us feel at home, cooking us a lovely meal and showing us the routine in person. We received a great manual too. They are easy going and left us comfortable with the sit ahead. Their home is in a great location for visiting the beautiful beaches on the West coast of Wales and there are some shops about 20 minutes drive away with everything you might need. We’d recommend this sit to anyone who’d like to spend time in nature and enjoy time cooking with the fresh produce on your doorstep. We’d love to return again if the stars align.
Wonderful pet sit. Brennan and Ben’s home was comfortable, clean , convenient and beautiful. Of course, the best part was Dottie. Dottie has the best personality, sweet and snuggly ,loves taking a walk around the neighborhood. We relaxed on the back patio area and also watched a movie . I was lucky to bring my friend Hillary with me on the sit so Dottie got twice the love . Quick communication from Brennan and Ben helped solve few things getting into the house and with the alarm system. Charleston was great and we got to visit Folly Beach and Sullivans Island. Hope to return again in the future for Dottie.
We spent just over a week in Poulsbo. Leo is an amazing dog to spend time with and very well behaved. Rob and Jennifer were very generous and welcoming. They left plenty of instruction and amenities within their awesome home! The neighborhood is beautiful and right along a very calm bay. It was the ideal dog-sit for any traveler, and a great city to visit. Plenty to do and see. We would be happy to get the opportunity to sit for Leo, Rob, and Jen again and would definitely recommend!
