Tom and Diana were so easy to work with. This was my first house sit so they were very helpful in being my guides through the process. They sent pics of the pups while we were gone and left lovely picked flowers for us to come home to. I would absolutely have them sit again anytime!
Lindsay is an ideal Homeowner, her house is beautiful and immaculate, she answered messages, allowed me to stay the night and was very accommodating. She has two cats, Phoebe, an Orange fluff ball thats a sweetie and will follow you everywhere and Percy a handsome gentleman that is more cautious and will watch your every move and at some point will decide you’re ok and he’ll grace you with his purrs ( he even got on my lap ! ) Phoebe and Percy are buddies, you’ll see them in the morning for petting, play and purrs, they sleep the middle of the day and re-emerge again in the evening for more petting and playing. I very much enjoyed my time in Lindsay’s beautiful home, downtown Napa is a 8 minute drive ( includes parking )Sonoma is a 25 minute drive, she’s in a very safe neighborhood that I went walking around often, there’s lots of wineries, if you’re into outdoor activities, do the history kayaking tour, it was wonderful. if an opportunity comes up to take care of Lindsay’s home, don’t hesitate. Thank you again !
We spent a week with Douglas and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Douglas is very loving, friendly and playful. Helen's place is very comfortable and is fantastically located - a 5min walk from the sea, 10mins into the main shop area of Brighton, and right around the corner from many great cafes, restaurants and dog-friendly pubs. It took us a few days to understand Douglas's personality and to fully gain his trust, but once we were there, we were able to get out a fair bit with him for local walks and trips to the pub. Whilst it suited us to be in with Douglas, we really appreicitated Helen organizing for some of her friends to dog-sit Douglas to enable us to pop out together on a few occasions, this was especially appreciated during the day of my daughters birthday. Thank you for a wonderful stay Helen and we hope to see you all again :)
It was a pleasure house sitting for Cathy! Barney and Archie are two lovely little dogs and very easy to look after. We loved Kiama and the coastal style house that was located only a 5 minute walk from the beach and close to the town centre with its shops and cafes. Communication with Cathy was easy and we'd be happy to house sit for her again.
I had an awesome time at Steve and Rebekah's house. The dogs and cat were very sweet and easy to take care of. Steve and Rebekah were very warm and welcoming. I can't recommend them enough.
Ashley has a sweet spot central to everything in Bend. She was super helpful; leaving directions to all the fun things in Bend, and specific instructions for the dogs. There is a hot tub in the back yard, and a skate ramp if you are so inclined. Her dogs are sweet; the younger one benefits from visiting the dog park often!
We have recently completed a wonderful house-sit for Ally and Tim, a very warm and welcoming couple. We were lucky enough to be treated to one of Tim's speciality dishes, a sumptuous spaghetti bolognaise, on the evening of arrival. Ally & Tim are the most kind and generous of people who went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. We were given full details of how to look after their pets and lovely home so we felt well prepared. Their home is a stunning mansion, set in its own extensive grounds, in the middle of the Tarn countryside. There are lots of interesting places to visit nearby, particularly Albi, and Rabastens has all the essentials you could need. However, the highlight of the sit was undoubtedly the pets: the kind-hearted Pebble, fun-loving Peanut and all of the cats with their different personalities. We absolutely loved caring for them. Thank you again Ally & Tim for welcoming us into your lovely home and allowing us to befriend your pets. We’d come back in a heart-beat!
