When we came home, the dogs looked great and were unusually relaxed which told us they had been in great hands. Also, our house was absolutely spotless! Anna and Ken really went above and beyond in so many ways and we are just so grateful. Next time we need a sitter, they will absolutely be our first choice! Suzanne was very patient, first in reading my long and detailed “Welcome Guide,” and then in also listening in person to me explain things about my dogs that might not have been covered sufficiently in the Welcome Guide. There’s a lot to know about dogs, especially older ones, and I appreciated that Suzanne was willing to listen and absorb all I had to tell her. She also stayed in good communication with me while I was away, and sent nice photos so I could see my happy dogs. She coordinated with me about when I was coming back so that she would be sure to stay long enough, and then checked afterwards to be sure I got home as scheduled. My home was left neat and clean, and she even washed all her bedding and re-made the bed clean. I appreciated that extra step. I weighed my dogs on my return, and they weighed exactly the same as when I left, which I can say, from experience, does not usually happen. That indicates to me that Suzanne carefully followed my instructions on feeding, and giving snacks, to my dogs. I highly recommend Suzanne as someone you can trust, without any concerns, to care for your precious pets and your home.
Gareth and Sabrina came and house sat for my two labradors in July. The dogs were very well looked after and Sabrina gave me updates on how the dogs were and sent photos. They also asked me if the dogs were ok with young children. I had to be honest as I wasn't sure. Willow had never had experience with young children but she has a lovely personality so I was pretty sure she would be fine but I am glad she asked me. They also took them out in the car to see friends which I was very happy about. I think they enjoyed their stay and the dogs seemed very well cared for.
