Samantha and Dave were consummate hosts - clear instructions before and during, regular communication if we needed anything, and a comfortable house with 2 adorable and well-behaved cats. When we needed to arrive a day early they even took us for dinner! I recommend anyone to look after their cats.
It was a very pleasant seat. Rosie and Richard were very welcoming. The house and the garden are beautiful, you'll have all you need for a pleasant stay. The house is very closed of the station (3 minutes by feet). With a car you could take Maisie for her prefered walks, and she can come with you for a more long day of visit. She is very cute, Mabel the cat too, it is interesting to feed Madam the turtle and the 3 hens will give you fresh eggs. Thank you very much to give us this opportunity and we'll comme back with pleasure.
We honestly can’t say anything but positive things about sitting for Carole, Tony and the fabulous Lucy. Carole and Tony are lovely, kind people. We stayed with them for the night before they left and they looked after us well. They know lots about Totnes and the surrounding areas and left us with lots of recommendations. The house is lovely. Everything you could need and in a fantastic location. There are walks from the back door. We arrived by train and Carole collected us although it is only a quick 10 minute walk to the station anyway. The neighbours are also lovely and willing to help if needed. Totnes is a beautiful location with lovely shopping and markets. Easy to get everywhere from the house. Finally, the star of the sit was Lucy. She really is an amazing dog. So loving and friendly. She stole all our hearts and we feel really lucky to have been asked to look after her. She was incredible with our daughter. She is the most loving and affectionate dog who just loves to be around people. Thank you Carole, Tony and Lucy for having us.
My partner and I had a wonderful time at Elle's sit. Her home is bright, spacious, organized, and situated in one of the best neighborhoods in Brooklyn. We did long walks along the Brooklyn Heights Promenade every day - the views of Manhattan from across the East River are unbeatable. And if you head in the opposite direction, further into Brooklyn, you'll discover all sorts of delightful shops. Everything we needed was easily within walking distance. Elle was great to coordinate and correspond with. I really appreciated the orientation she was able to give me before the sit actually started. Her welcome guide was also thorough, and she was quick to respond to any questions we had. This was also our first time sitting at a home that follows kosher guidelines, and Elle made it super simple and straightforward for us. And Potus! One of the sweetest, most endearing cats we've ever encountered. She's very mild tempered and affectionate. And don't be fooled by her age - she's got a feisty streak and loves to play! If you get the chance to sit for Elle, you're in for a real treat. Wonderful host, wonderful home, and wonderful cat. 10/10 would recommend!
Gillian’s place was very comfortable, bright and cheery with a great collection of art and cool cat decor. Her cat Cricket is very mellow and self sufficient. As warned, it takes a couple days for her to warm up to strangers, so by the last day of the 3 day sit, we were solid… The view is fantastic overlooking the Puget Sound with gorgeous sunsets. The location super convenient too, a good walk to get to the main drag with all the shops and restaurants- would definitely sit here again.
It was an amazing petsitting experience! Belén is super nice, and Lord and Snow are amazing cats! The place is fantastic, located in a really convenient area with everything nearby. I am truly grateful for having this experience, and it was really good! Belén is an excellent communicator
