It was a pleasure to meet Alice briefly before we left and we could tell right away that our cat Sasha and our house would be well cared for, which they were. It was easy to make arrangements with Alice beforehand and she communicated with us, including photos, to keep in touch while we were away for 10 days. She graciously dealt with some unexpected construction work outside on the house for a few days after we had promised a quiet stay! It was wonderful to come home, after a long day of travel, to a very clean house, clean sheets on the bed, and a very contented cat.
We had a nice visit with Gaby and Henry. They were open and welcoming to us and made sure we had all we needed before the left. And their pets were welcoming, too. ;-) Within minutes, Sushi was on my lap checking me out face to face. The whole group would follow us from room to room. It was so cute. They were all easy to take care for and knew their routine. It was simple enough to administer Tia's drops. She was such a good girl for those. We enjoyed our time here in the little town of Iroquois. Thanks for your hospitality. You have a lovely home with a great view. Safe travels.
I loved staying at Jennifer’s! She was a very thoughtful host, made me feel right at home, and also made sure I had everything I needed to successfully care for Maui and Kaedie. The accommodations were cozy, clean and convenient. I felt like I had my own space and was very comfortable. Parking was available and easy access to lots of fun Colorado activities! Maui and Kaedie have fun personalities and are easy to care for. I highly recommend this stay all around ☺️
Jake and Booda are the perfect cat pals! They have access to a cat flap and come and go as they please. They both love a good cuddle and enjoy being in your company while you chill in the living room whether it's in the beanbag next to you or from above in their cat kingdom! Manu is very kind natured and made us feel at home from the get go. We were lucky enough to spend the evening getting to know her and the family before their trip which was a pleasure. The location offers great views of Basel and has shops and tram stops close by. You could not ask for better!
I spent 3 lovely weeks staying in Emily’s home and looking after Ozzie. I received a very warm welcome from Emily and she gave a tour of the house with clear care instructions for Ozzie as well as some tips for the local area. The house was very comfortable with a well equipped kitchen, a relaxing living/dining room, and a relaxing bed for a good nights sleep. The village for Marsden is small and rural, but has everything you could need, plus fairly reliable public transport to the surrounding towns and cities. As for Ozzie, he was the perfect feline friend during my stay. He has a very gentle and sweet nature and loves to come for a chat and cuddle; although he can be a little nervous to start with he soon warmed up to me. He also loves his food and is great at letting you know when it’s mealtime. Ozzie really is a total sweetheart and I’ve missed him since saying goodbye. I highly recommend housing sitting for Emily and Ozzie, and I hope to return in the future. Thank you for such a lovely house-sit!
Commiting to a holiday sit in Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) 6 months ahead of time was quite a stretch but it turned out to be the trip of a lifetime. Debra was good to communicate with us before our arrival & her 'guide' helped immensely w/our confidence. Her husband Rod (and driver) picked us up late in the evening at the airport & oriented us to the house, pets and neighborhood. We were very comfortable during our 3 week stay - Jaffa and Minty were both easy and adorable. A notebook of places to see and things to do, augmented our own research. We greatly enjoyed wandering District 2 and had easy access via taxis to District , the town center. We have many great memories and hope to return.
Lo pasamos muy bien durante unas semanas con una cariñosa tripulación formada por Violeta, Pancha, Oliver, Cruton, Osa, Cuqui, Tobi y la Reina Panterita en una super casa dentro de una reserva forestal, un lugar tranquilo y apacible. Al principio, cuando vimos la vacante, pensamos que no sería posible estar tranquilos con 8 animales, pero desde el primer contacto estuvimos seguros de que todo iría sobre ruedas. Esto se confirmó cuando llegamos y Mariel y Marcelo nos llevaron de la mano, mostrándonos cada rincón de la casa, cómo funcionaba cada perro, gato y pez. Es como seguir un camino todos los días, si no te desvías todo va muy bien, Mariel nos tranquilizó. Los animales son muy tranquilos y cariñosos, parecía que nos conocían desde hace mucho tiempo. La casa tiene todo lo necesario, agua caliente, utensilios de cocina, calefacción, internet rápido, muchas comodidades. La zona está cerca del transporte público (10 min) y de pequeños mercados (10 min), todo a pie. La zona en general es muy tranquila y segura, ideal para pasear por el bosque o por la playa, que está a 25 minutos. Mariel y Marcelo son dos jóvenes de unos 60 años a los que les encanta viajar, los animales y hablar. Tienen muy buen humor y son muy responsables, y siempre me preguntan si necesitamos algo. Nos comunicamos con ellos todos los días, lo que fue importante para crear una buena relación, intercambiando fotos y regalos. Me encantaría volver en cualquier momento o verlos en algún lugar de Brasil o en otro país Gracias por todo y por la oportunidad de conocerte a ti, a los bebés y a Mar del Plata
